Mexico City is truly such an underrated place and it doesn’t get the recognition that it deserves. The food scene, gastronomy, and the street vendors is probably some of the best in the world. There are more museums in Mexico City than New York or London. Likewise, Chapultepec Park is even bigger than Central Park in New York.

The bad mouthing that both Mexico and CDMX get are from people who have either never been or have very limited knowledge and maybe had a bad experience. I spent more than 2 months in CDMX earlier this year and never once felt unsafe. We are a retired couple in their sixties and we just use common sense, like we do in our own country. We have been traveling Mexico for almost 10 months now and we absolutely love it. We are going back to CDMX next week for possibly another 2 months, we may settle there for a while. Yes, the altitude may affect you a bit for a while, especially if you are coming from sea level, but it’s not a game changer. Give Mexico City a try and it will put things in perspective real fast.

@@Booboonancy my travel plans involve flying from the USA and spending 13 days in CDMX, Puebla and Oaxaca in March and April. I don’t believe that CDMX is any more dangerous than any other large city. Most crimes are petty theft like pick pocketing. It’s just sensible to keep your wits about you at all time, whether it is in CDMX, London, NYC, or Tokyo.

I can still speak fairy well but my comprehension not as good. I did get to go to Chapultepec park and see the castle .There is also a Zoo there ,museums ,and used to have an amusement park plus places to picnic .I did go to the Pyramids and they are so impressive.

I love Coyoacán! It's my favorite neighborhood in Mexico City. My friends live near Santa Fe, however. It's fine but not so exciting. The best places to visit in Mexico City are the Zócalo, Coyoacán, Condesa, Roma, and the parks like Chapultepec. There's also an amazing market called Ciudadela that I highly recommend!

cant find the info today, but about 30 years ago I read about how some people from the US decided to change the way Mexico City counted its population. Some metro area were removed from Mexico City metro area, so before this change, Mex City was considered the largest in the world, after the change, still largest but not the largest. Now, depending on how you decide to count the population, Mexico city can be the largest, or still very large.

Lived in Mexico City for a couple of years. It was a great experience and I would say that Mexico City is a very exciting, fun and interesting place to live and to visit. You never run out of things to do and it's always full of surprises. One of the things I liked the most is that it's a perfect combination of modern and old, new and traditional, futuristic and historic, down to earth and sophisticated, etc. Not to mention the food! Anyway, your video was great and you captured the essence of the city. Great work! Greetings from London!

Yes, my homecountry is a site to see. The CDMX is so impressive. Castillo de Chapultepec (Chapultepec Castle) is the only castle in the Americas. The food is outstanding and a far distance to what we know as Mexican food stateside. While other LATAM cities are known for being very much European like, CDMX doesn't fall far behind. The Centro Histórico is very much reminescent of any Euro city with it's architecture, evident of our Spanish influence. Viva México!

@@adelorenita6085 Gracias. Yeah, I even order in Chinese in Chinese Restaurants. Just like Star Trek speaking into my cellphone and hitting the translate button with output by voice or written. So don't let language stop you from travelling. Besides many countries there are more English Speakers than many of the larger US Cities. Go South for warmer winter weather and some lower expenses and especially culture and experience.

MEXICO CITY 🇲🇽 The oldest capital of North America, and of the Americas. (Mexico-Tenochtitlan) Historical capital of four political entities: Capital of the Aztec Empire Capital of the Viceroyalty of the New Spain Capital of the First Mexican Empire Capital of the Mexican Republic Nicknamed by the conquerors The Venice of the new world. Mexico City, is the second city with more museums, in the world, has the Chapultepec Castle, the only real castle in America to be inhabited by emperors. Besides the Bosque de Chapultepec that is three times bigger than Central Park in New York. El Paseo de la Reforma is considered the second most beautiful avenue in the world, after the Champs-Élysées in Paris. The capital has a legacy that mixes architecture, pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern, making Mexico City a cosmopolitan city. The ancient Mexico-Tenochtitlan, capital of the Aztec Empire, has been transformed into "Mexico City" The metropolis of Latin America. 🏢🏣🏡⛲
