If you can only pick one, DCA E3 and Meze Liric 2, which one do you prefer? Also, how is Liric 2 compare to Focal Stellia? As a DCA E3 and Stellia owner, does it worth to get Liric 2?

Thanks for the question; for me personally, I would choose the Liric 2 as it better aligns with the sound profile I prefer in a closed-back as well, and the fit is superb for me. The Stellia is still my favorite closed-back, but it's not the best to travel with, so I think the Liric 2 sits in a very good spot.

@@TheSourceAVDesignGroupThank you. I will take a listen at the dealer and see how it compares to Stellia. My old plan is to take E3 on the go. Sadly although extremely portable and sound superb, it is too hard to drive and I almost treated as the desktop headphone, same as Stellia. Have listened the old Liric one and doesn't like it so much. To my ears the old Liric does not worth 2k.

Since Liric II and Stellia are both warm sounding, I can only keep one. Yes. Stellia is still a little bulky, but still manageable to put in a bag. I will see in the dealer store.

They are different, I wouldn't stress. Do you like the Empy 2?

Would the Denon ah-d9200 compete with either the E3 or the Liric 2 in your opinion?

It does, and indeed, some will prefer it over the other two headphones, but the reverse is also true. I also think you have two different technologies and the inherent advantages of Planar or Dynamic headphones to consider.

I'd take the D9200 over Liric 1 any day of the week - it's far more musical, and also resolving.

I would take most headphones over the OG Liric. Liric 2 is much better.
