What's the profile and height of the mini? I like the height of the SS, but I feel like the length is just added weight for no benefit.

Hearing Y’all talk about your fathers hit hard. Lost my Mom and Dad last March. I had moved to be closer to them 10 yrs prior. They got me out of a dead end career. We started a business together. It hurts so much that they are gone. Like Josh I feel so blessed to have been so close for the last 10 years communicating daily.

Justin worked on my bow last weekend. He knows his stuff. Fixed my hamskea rest fast and saved me from having to buy a new one. SVA is lucky to have him. I know the guy I want to work on my set up or build me a new set up is Justin!

I shoot a low profile 4 vane from easy vanes same surface area as a standard blazer 3 vane. more clearance and they fly better. also way way quieter than the blazers. love these vids.

I haven't noticed enough of a difference in arrow flight between 3 and 4 fletch to worry about it too much. I like 4 because I feel like I get a little better scope clearance and long range without a cock vane sticking straight up. Great video!

This podcast has rapidly made its way into the rotation. As someone who’s started businesses before, the behind the scenes stories of the shop and other little details you don’t hear about from the outside really gets the entrepreneurial blood going! Suggestion, for some content. Im familiar with the big brands of bows but haven’t owned most of them. I try to focus on perfecting what I have at the moment but still research gear out of curiosity. I’d love to hear some break downs of some defining attributes/technologies of the various big name bow brands and why they may inspire their fan base. I’ve always found that info hard to come by from knowledgeable sources. Great content guys.

I drove 5 hours to get my last bow and the experience I got from working with Justin was well worth it. Wish the shop was closer!

Love all you guys, MFJJ is my #1 go to guy BUT, the 4 fletch needs to be tested more on this channel. On other channels (like chris bees) iv seen speed and noise testing and the 4 fletch is just as fast out to 60 and noticabley quiter. I shoot a 4 fletch with a slight on a 415gr arrow and my arrows are cutting air much quieter and faster than 3 fletch max helical guys. I agree its a trade off however its a trade off of more important things than simply cool factor haha. U guys rock! Thank you so much for the education!

Great group of guys right here. Spokane Valley Archery has a very knowledgeable staff and absolutely unsurpassed customer service. Have bought a lot of equipment from them and just ordered a bow from them shipped all the way out here to the east coast. Both Justin and Doug are top notch guys and their willingness to go the extra step have set them apart from every shop I have ever dealt with. Keep up the Podcast gentalmen

I love these fireside podcasts. Rarely do I have the patience to listen or watch something longer than 10 minutes or so. But I watch these all the way through. The relaxed discussion of archery topics not being constrained by time is great. I enjoy seeing the dogs join in. I'm interested in so many things about archery and love data and personal opinions combined with good technical info to back it up. Why do you use the things you use? What data do you have that helped you make that specific choice? Keep these videos coming!

Measure the sound at different distances from the bow, with test on a calm day outside. If inside you may get a lot more echo bouncing off the walls unless the room is sound proofed to limit the echo bouncing off the the walls

Curious what MFJJ has to say about broadheads that are recommended to be shot with 4 fletches. The Annihilator brand recommends 2.75” 3 fletches or 4 of the 2.25” fletches.

BTW I bought my Victory RIP arrows, titanium inserts and points from you as I like to support such a good information stream, I am also pretty sure Tim and I could have an in-depth discussion about golf 😂

Hey there JJ , let me start by saying I find your channel very informative with out all the BS. Also sorry for what your going though in your life with the delusion of your marriage . That being said you ask for honest feed back one way or another . I have never left feedback on here , but after watching and following you and Dan's elk shape and watched and listened to what has transpired throughout the last few months and reading comments I decided to put my 2 cents in. Here it go's I enjoy both you and Dan's opinions and comments up front direct good or Bad. However I believe you would be much better off by yourself with different guest being invited or a regular side kick other then AKA " the stay puff Marshmallow man" Tim Conners. self proclaimed "entrepreneur" / pro golfer. He brings "0" to the table on archery. Knowledge of the art comes from mimicry of you and Dan until he used him up. he is AT BEST an average shooter and that's it. I find it extremely hard to believe that any archery product company would or is sending HIM anything to test or give is opinion on . what I do believe it is only due to who he has latched unto this time. 'Entrepreneur" translate into: lack of or no physical labor used. 2) to benefit from others hard work financially with little effort given . For ass jacks to comment or state Dan is greedy shows how ignorance they are ! which is exactly what stay puff is. Dan built and nurtured his channel for years without stay puff , yet he thumbed his nose up at him with a more generous offer then 90% of the people out there would have done for him. Then Stay puff pulled a bitch move and shit on him publicly??? Please JJ re think this journey with the current baggage you lugging around.
