@@cappedminer369 Hard to explain, it takes away from the immersion since it makes it feel more like a videogame. In Resident Evil 7 or 2 all you hear is creaking and cracking or the wind, thats way more scary. They only play music during bosses or save spots. Siren has like a beat in the music so its too upbeat.

@@hopeestheim7285 Played through both last year (unexpectedly got an easier to follow story than Blood Curse) and while they are very surreal and creepy, they have some flaws. E.g the controls, maze-like stages and cryptic puzzles in Siren 1 and Siren 2 gets kinda weak once all enemies become Yamibito.

I'm not sure, if I did, I must have done it long ago, because I always played like that. I brightened it up a bit in editing and scaled it to 102%, maybe that changed something.
