MG TF Chasing MX5 at Cadwell Park Ends In Near Miss

Unfortunately, the TF has been out of action since Oulton last year. Some new bits fitted and some other issues fixed so should be back out even better soon! We were supposed to be at Cadwell last week but after finding new problems we couldn't finish the car in time, so dug out this clip from last year I had forgotten about. This was right at the end of the day so pushing hard and feeling confident... probably a bit too confident. Shifting down while going through hall bends is not a good idea. Might have some improvements so we don't have to do that next time!
Brief Modification Rundown:
16" Abingdon wheels with Nankang AR1's
Spax fully adjustable suspension + Springs
Rear 4pot AP Racing calipers with bias adjustment, 304mm slotted disks
Custom front brake disk cooling vents
VHS Front and Rear ARB Set
Custom Intake Ducting/Filter
Custom engine bay cooling duct/fan
4to1 Exhaust Manifold, Sports CAT, TT Performance Mk3R Back Box
SAWS Remap to 179 BHP, 128Ibft (totally standard engine)
Lightened Flywheel, Torsen Type B PG1 LSD
Custom radiator ducting with RPS Bonnet
Custom Front Splitter, Rear Wing and Rear Bumper
Roll Cage, Seats, Harnesses, General Weight Reduction

Some how saved that one! I'd definitely recommend giving it a run out at a circuit somewhere they are great fun on track. This car is getting a lot of work done at the moment so hopefully have some more clips of it in action later this year. Cheers!

@@Chaln123 After all this time thankyou... I've been looking for a TF mod in AC for as long as I can remember. Now after seeing your comment I've found a recently released mod for the F so definitely going to try that! Car is getting an upgraded engine since I blew the other one up, but I only have two weeks left till It has to be complete and out of the workshop, so definitely some videos after that!

Thanks! Have been very limited on time recently, but I've got a few videos on the car planned i've been wanting to do for a while. Just needed to focus on getting it back running, which it very nearly is. Fingers crossed i'll be able to upload more regularly from now on. Maybe chase down a few more MX5's without getting carried away next time!
