Theres also another theory that Izuku will have to use 100% of OFA without his body being fully developed and ready to use 100% in order to defeat Shigaraki, which would probably blow off his limbs in the process. It makes sense but if that was the case, midoriya still wouldn't have a quirk and he couldn't know about the war, or class 1A, and dekus quirk has severe recoil "you're arms and legs would shot off if you tried to use it without training " midoriya wasn't able to completely finish the training so his bones break but because of the gloves that he was given the drawbacks of his quirk are pretty much gone but I've probably thought of darker theories

How about... There are a new girl character that was mutan human created by genius professor in the past. The professor plans to kill All for one, that's why he created this mutan human. He have quirks 'Time travels' but only could back to the past, so he use it to do million experiments and go back to the past when he fail. When he back to the past, he couldn't change and affect the world, beside he could carries some good back to the past as long as he can bring it. So the mutan human is girl that could have alot quirks and duplicate another person quirk, also her base quirk is regeneration and heal. Because even she could use and duplicate quirk, she need to learn to control it. She also need to train her body so she could used her quirk well. She could burn out when she use too much quirk at the same time and for long time, cause that's need alot of energy and give her brain pressure. When she lack of energy, she could absorb nature energy to recharge. She have 'Link' quirk that make her could communicate to everyone. The professor manifest his last power to create a big capsule on his secret laboratory, and make this girl hibernation at the 15 yo body so her body became stronger. The professor died on car accident before finished the last experiment for the girl. The girl sleep for 100 years, then wake up at the same time with Izuku Midoriya get his OFA Quirk. The official girl quirk is All for All, she able to share her quirk to at least 30 people under her control. She able to duplicate another quirk but couldn't use the quirk more than the official owner. If the official owner could use 95%/100% of the quirk full form, she could use the quirk maximum on 95% too, she couldn't use more than the official owner even that she can do it, if she force to do it, the official owner quirk will suddenly increase following her and it could make the ofc owner's body explode and die cz of the sudden pressure. She sharing quirk by contract using blood, she could controlled the power of the quirk too. So yea she have unstable mental cz of the experiment. But she still remember the mission to get information about AFO quirk and kill him. Until she meet Hawks and Aizawa on UA, and decided to make contract with 1-A class. She became secret hero, work behind the screen. Izuku became the last OFA generation. AFO died. The girl died and dissapear bcs her mission complete. World became 100% human with quirk, that makes alot problem. Then on Eri's generation, she use her quirk to restart the world became normal human without quirk generation.

I don’t buy this at all, MHA has its moments of darkness, but that’s just what they are. Moments. The overall tone is light and optimistic, it’s very inspiring to watch as Deku and the other characters grow. It’s just not gonna end this way. THAT BEING SAID! Deku having depression at the beginning of the series is much more plausible by itself, and is worth looking into.

So here’s the reason the coma theory will never be correct for an ongoing series like this: The show has, for six seasons now, established themes and used it’s story to convey those themes. Having the main character be in a coma is a great way of nullifying all of that thematic set up for a lame, unsatisfying plot twist. It would take a shit writer (one who wouldn’t get this far in telling their story) to make that narrative choice.

But he's slowly realizing the truth" only evidence being, there are quirks that can do that. But also his multiple quirks and raggedy new appearance being more menacing. Cause, anime character living in a fantasy but actually he's in a coma. Is kinda boring
