Please bear with me if there are any visual or audio issues, I'm still getting used to balancing bitrate and performance, but hey, first PC speedrun!
It's a little odd using Charged Shelling with Wide 7 Gunlance, but if you get Felyne Bombardier, and the Wyrmstake, it actually outdamages Long 6 (145/140 on Wide vs 168/106 on Long, roughly). You also get the added bonus of the single shell hits being more effective when a monster won't sit still.
I'm confident that TA Wiki Rules Gunlance can sub 7, as I got Brachy taking the scenic route to the Volcano Zone, and it was far from a decent leg lock, but I think it's pretty neat.

Nice run, Whiskeytricks! 😁 It's an interesting position we find ourselves in with wide 7 being a jack of all trades and master of all trades (well, except for full burst). Great charged shells, great uncharged shells, nice damage (with high raw) on wrymstake cannon, and a wyvern's fire stronger than the other 2 shelling types. The lightbreak gunlance is a hog (and yes, I mean that in a good way). Haha

Hey fyi If you go into your item pouch and scroll all the way down, you can disable stuff like the Surveyor set from your item wheel to clear up space during a hunt.

@@joshuahatfield538 while in game go into pause menu, go to "item box" Then, in that UI, go down to the bottom where it has the icons for your net and stuff, you should see a prompt to hide it. When hidden, those items do not appear in your inventory. You can still use them by equipping them to radial menu.

Slinger capacity really useful ? I test it without and I do the same damage

Julien Copin slinger capacity is used to extend the uptime of the wyrmstake, so you get more damage for longer from the extra explosions

Forgive me if I'm wrong, I usually just play normal gunlance. But isn't this new brachy one better with poke+charge shell+poke etc. Or is still better CS+CS+CS?

Scott Arrowsmith normally you’d be right, and the explanation is in the description, but usually wide is poke shell etc, but if you get Felyne Bombardier, and the Wyrmstake, it actually outdamages Long 6 (145/140 on Wide vs 168/106 on Long, roughly). You also get the added bonus of the single shell hits being more effective when he won’t sit still. On top of that, wide does more invisible partbreaks/stagger damage, as that’s calculated on a separate gauge to just pure damage, long gets a boost to it as well, but Wide just edges it out!

why did your sharpness did not fill up completely when sharpening?

Nolan /Cravecks I had shredded through the sharpness all the way down to half of my green, so there was a lot to recover, and I used a whetstone rather than a fish scale!
