The healthcare system in Nova Scotia's rural areas has always been bad. My grandmother died when she was misdiagnosed, ignoring a known condition. Taking everything out of the conversation and delaying getting Destiny the help she needed from better doctors should be seen as embarrassing to the system. Notice that the report says, "reasonable & appropriate care." Someone dying at 22 with a known type of illness is not reasonable care. The rural system needs one big backhanded slap.
