Yeah the Shep started up the football team when he came here, which makes sense why Sav, Bruce and some other former Lakehurst students are on the team since they probably played on the Lakehurst team before the school burned down. As for the hockey team, that wasn’t a school team, it was a juniors team, which is basically a league before the pros that some Canadians and Americans do before or instead of college hockey. Some high schools can choose to be a host for teams with younger players to have them attend there together while on the team since a lot of people have to move to the city of the team they make/are assigned to. As for Owen, I just realized a few weeks ago that he was playing hockey before, but I still don’t think he’s good enough to be on a juniors team. I honestly wish they just black holed him instead (or maybe I’m just an Owen hater). - Signed, someone who works in college and juniors hockey

I'm so excited you're in the later seasons, some of the storylines are trash but like in a fun way. Some of them though are super great. I stopped watching at like season 6 and only recently finally finished the series. Can't stand claire but Ali is that bitch!

So in college, I had a nearby apartment and they made a similar mistake with my house that they did with Kelly. My name is Gabrielle, but it always gets mixed up with Gabriel. They put me with a Gabriel and another dude and my mom was not about it all😭😭. But I lived there for a whole two years before and made me move out instead of the new guys 😭

In hindsight, this season did fall short to utilize this story compared to the previous seasons’ premiers. For example, Manny becoming homeless, Sean returning, and Darcy’s getting assaulted all continued, set up new stories, and intertwined with other characters’ storylines in large ways that make those seasons have more of a connected theme. These two episodes are great, but something like this need more could’ve been a bigger deal in another season or series. They're good episodes, but there’s is just not enough good connective tissue and change of the status quo following these two episodes.

This episode kind of did it set up the football team and Mia modeling storyline both lasted all season but they were both background storylines. But also this season wasn’t as super serious as other seasons because they are establishing the cast

I believe Mia is 18 because think about it, she would've mostly likely been held back when Bella was born due to her pregnancy and after giving birth, which would cause her to miss school. She should've been with Emma's class and graduated already at this point

She’s in 11th grade this season so if she was held back she was suppose to be in 12th grade but age of consent in Canada is 16 so there is that. As long as the football wasn’t in position of power

@pleaseshutup7053 honestly I like how they portrayed her story in the end because sometimes that's how life goes, nothing is guaranteed, and we don't know how our lives will change in the future. I know a lot of people, including my family, who thought college after school would be the ticket to success for them, and more than half of them didn't finish but still turned out ok
