പുട്ടു പൊടി നനക്കാതെ പുട്ടു പൊടി ഇല്ലാതെ നല്ല സോഫ്റ്റ് പുട്ടു പെട്ടന്ന് ഉണ്ടാകാം || Kerala PUTTU

Ingredients:
Raw rice / Kuthari - 1 glass (I used raw rice)
Cooked rice - 2 tbsp (Any variety)
Grated coconut
Salt
Steps:
Soak raw rice for 2 hours (kuthari for 5-6 hours).
Powder the soaked and drained rice very finely in the mixie.
Add cooked rice and pulse again.
Powder in batches.
Transfer it to a plate and add salt.
Mix well breaking all the lumps.
(This can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. You will have to sprinkle some water, if you are using after 2 days.)
Take the puttu maker/mould and add 3 tbsp grated coconut with a spoon and then add a few spoons of the prepared mixture followed by a layer of coconut.
Repeat the same steps until the puttu maker is loosely full.
You may also drizzle some ghee on the top.
Add 2 cups of water in a pressure cooker, cover the cooker and remove the whistle.
Place the puttu maker on the vent pipe at the top of the cooker and steam it on high flame.
When the steam starts coming out of the puttu maker, do not switch off immediately.
Wait for another 2-3 minutes for the puttu to get cooked completely.
Switch off the stove. Transfer the soft puttu to a plate and enjoy as such or with banana or kadala curry (y2u.be/zE1oUtPLh5I) or stew (y2u.be/mFXEFo1KLXM)

ഒരു പക്ഷേ ചോറ് ചേർക്കാതെ വെച്ചാൽ, ആറുമ്പോൾ കട്ടി പിടിക്കുമായിരിക്കും. രാവിലെ ഒക്കെ ഏത് വീട്ടിലാ ചോറ് ഉണ്ടാവുക, പുട്ടാണെങ്കിൽ കൂടുതലും പ്രഭാത ഭക്ഷണം ആണ് താനും, പൊടിക്കുമ്പോൾ അതിൽ നിന്നും രണ്ട് സ്പൂൺ തരി പരുവത്തിൽ എടുത്ത് പാവ് കാച്ചി തണുപ്പിച്ചെടുത്ത് ചേർത്താൽ മതിയായിരിക്കും എന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു.
