I know this video is a couple of years old but I'm right there with you. Lost my cat Abby in highschool she was my dad's cat she stuck to him like glue. Felt like I lost the world that day. If I had restored a VW Transporter I had never changed it from 11 window to 13 (or whatever). When I was in high school we had one like Mic's as a party bus and yes it was a bless to have the lil privacy the last closed panels gave.

It's so sad to read about your cat! Hope there will be a solution... You do a fine job and, of course, you're soon will be called "master of grinding machine"! But it's SO important to do the job restoring kona in the workshop, and not by yourselve only. I watched some videos from other guys restoring Volkswagen busses (with rotten roof, for example) and for my opinion you did the right decision go to Skinner! Can't wait to see the next steps in the restauration process. Regards from Vienna!

@@mrvolksmad Probably not. I've owned 5 of the old-style buses and the fit/finish on them was pretty darn good. Then I got a '72 and later a '74 and they were very good vehicles but didn't have the karma that the early ones did. Wish I still had one of the old ones.
