friend, here in my country, Brazil, that's car is called 'Kombi', very popular, widely used to transport students, travel, products, etc. We have 'Kombis' by the thousands and many, but many spare parts in the trades of car parts! If you need parts, do not forget, it is in Brazil that you will find them! Big hug !!

Good Job Mic. Good feeling getting all that dirty rust cut out. Most folks don't have a clue how much work it entails in a project like this. It's very labor intensive but she'll look fantastic when she's welded back up. That is where the fun begins is when you get to put fresh metal back in her. cheers dude.

Great stuff!. Love the rapport with your Dad. As a seventeen year old, Dad and I didnt get on at all I bought a wrecked motorbike and we ended up doing a basic restoration on my small BSA motorbike. Doing it together fixed our relationship, taught me 'make n mend' and ended up with Dad being my best friend..... Nice one.

Nice that you can spend the time working with your dad. You can never put a price on those times. And it helps that he has a nice shop to work on the Bus. I like that it is clean and organized, that is a sign of someone who cares about the job that they do. Can't wait for the next video.

Your restoring it at the same level or how I'm doing my buses (2) 67's & (1) 64 . Great to see your dad working and supporting you on the bus project. My son and I started working on VW as a hobby when he was just 3 years old, now at the age of 30 we still enjoy it. My struggle is I'm 65 and have health issues, but still enjoy what I can do on my vw's. I sub to your channel the day you picked up your bus like how you are documenting the project. I need a car lift , but garage ceiling to low.. so floor jacks & jack stand and a lot of old bones trying to get up & down from the floor, but each task is a victory and a little happy dance.
