91WriterzStatus I know you meant no harm, but I hate comments like this. Did you expect them to use slang and Ebonics? You almost never hear people say white people are well spoken. Black men aren’t monolithic. We’re nuanced. Please stop this

@@obiwashere hey, thanks for responding to my comment and creating a dialogue. Nope, I didn't expect them to speak ebonics and when I mentioned the term well spoken I meant I appreciate how articulate they are. I appreciate and admire their word choices to express their emotions. I enjoy hearing the passion in which they speak on a subject they enjoy. When I mention well spoken I'm referring to word choices used to easily get their point across. I admire anyone who can express how they feel eloquently. It's truly an art to express how you feel with passion and to be able to express yourself freely and candidly. I'm interested in word choice, tone and cadence. I'm artist and a writer and I enjoy listening to people express themselves. This comment was a compliment to both of them.
@91WriterzStatus6 жыл бұрын
@@obiwashere I also believe the terms well spoken and articulate have a negative connotation attached to them because of prejudice and racism. Once again I didn't mean any harm in the terms used in my comments. Anyone can be well spoken but I completely understand your gripe with this term.

Yeah well you guys “speed ramped” the onscreen captioned definition for “speed ramp”. Most people can’t read QUITE that fast especially when they’re paying attention to the movement and not prepared for a caption to come onscreen. One of my biggest pet peeves is captions that are just ever so slightly too short. If anything let them be ever so slightly too long.

They're probably casual boxing fans... Just because Michael B Jordan did Creed doesnt mean he knows a lot about the sport yet he talks like he knows so much lmao, they couldnt even tell what groin guards are called at first. He also said he could take Roy Jones Jr in a real boxing match like really? Dont get me wrong, he probably could punch and all but saying you could beat a real boxer who dedicated his whole life for the sport is delusional and cocky imo.
