Many of these 80s recordings have somewhat inferior sound recordings. Quite annoying really. Mike's sax is way down in the mix and it's all ride and snare.

I know during upside downside during Mike Stern's solo , the camera man decides not to show Stern on most of his solo and that's his song. Incompetent is exactly the word.

This a festival! No soundcheck before the show.. Clearly at the beginning the sound engineer is doing a fast soundcheck during the first song on the fly! That's why you hear every console channel one by one..
