Stunning performances by Tom Schuman and Jay Beckenstein but Julio Fernandez just absolutely melting faces with his brilliant guitar work--genius level playing here. Particularly on "Cape Town Love" (16:00) which is just some of the most joyful music I have heard in a very long time. Jeff Rosenblatt and Scott Ambush really come to gether on this one (48:48) too; what a remarkable live performance that night!

In my opinion, Joel Rosemblatt was the best drummer Spyro Gyra had.

Yeah! They played after the 3 of the greatest jazz guitarists ever: Barney Kessel, Charlie Byrd and Herb Ellis. Great times!
