Kap is no different from Ali...read some of Ali speeches/books and you will say Kap & Ali are the same. the hate was the same between the two. Ali talked about police brutality and how evil the Ameri govern is. And the white ppl. of this country verbally attacking Ali. Stating to Ali you are a boxer we pay you millions to get into the ring and fight. Also telling Ali this country fought for your freedom stop complaining and stand up to show respect to the American flag....sound familiar, histroy repeating itself.

@offdacorner
@offdacorner 8 жыл бұрын
Yep. You're complaining. You say that you don't want to hear the subject that's being discussed. Well all you have to do is "change the channel". But instead, you'd rather whine and complain about it. If I don't like a movie, show, or internet video, I just don't watch it. I don't go and watch it and then whine about it. Sounds like something a little child would do.

You're so upset because you can't control the narrative here, yet you're still here. Strange. The Lifetime network has movies. But I don't watch them. I choose to watch movies on other channels. I don't watch movies on Lifetime and then go whine about it to other people. Apparently that's what you do.

all these people that are upset about what they're speaking on, all that shows is that you are scared to hear about the truth. the truth makes you uncomfortable and that's exactly what kaepernick was protesting about and it's also exactly the problem with people in this country.

The Incredible Link Thats exactly what I'm talking about. Instead of realizing what's actually happening in your country, you choose to deny the truth and say that people of color must be making it up or over reacting. all you're doing is proving my point. you brought up a discussion that has nothing to do with my original comment. people of color in this country are at a disadvantage from birth and its because of the way the system is built. and unless you've grown up in a black persons body in a poor neighborhood then you have no right to say otherwise because I did and I can say from experience that people of color are absolutely at a disadvantage. it's fact that people who are aware of the truth but scared to acknowledge it have a tendency to deny it without reason. almost like people who deny the Holocaust...
@EjectoSeatoCuz.
@EjectoSeatoCuz. 8 жыл бұрын
rhuttner12 I sure hope your comment is sarcasm, if not you're either delusional or living on a different planet. I know for a fact that people of color are targeted by police and I have experienced it myself on different occasions. I was once pulled over for no other reason than the officer thinking that my car must've been too nice for me. He had no intention of pulling me over until he saw who was driving the car, everything was good, I wasn't speeding or breaking any sort of laws, after realizing that he had nothing on me, he starts fumbling with my inspection sticker asking my why it's peeling, like it must be fake, but apparently he forgot it was 90+ degrees that day. he then proceeds to call the shop number on the back to clarify legitimacy. after being proven wrong for a second time, he then returns to my car almost upset that he couldn't get me for something. he then had the audacity to tell me that I was a long way away from Philly as if black people aren't allowed to be outside of poor cities. tell me again how blacks aren't targeted... let me ask you this... if you think it isn't bad, how willing would you be to trade lives with a black man for 20 years?

I hate that people just don't acknowledge that Kaepernick already succeeded in his protest. The main goal was to get people's attention and awareness and get them to talk about the situations with the police and the black community and bring it to the Forefront on all levels. Like he said he did his job this year he's not going to kneel the work is done now let's move on to the next level reforming police departments and building the black communities Kaepernick is also doing that people are stuck on the issue of him not getting a job and what it means Kaepernick is good.

One owner needs to talk with kap.. he can be compromised with.. not undermimed and threatened and bullied.. but he can be reasoned with.. dont resist change.. Let's build a healthier america where kap as a person can take a stand that you dnt agree with and work with him dnt just shut it down cause his skin color or how it's creating.. or since you dont understand it.. use the good energy from what can be.. just one owner is all it takes to get this all turned into a positive for all win-win is an Awesome place to be First! NFL can stand as a symbol of how we resolve conflict by finding peaceful mediums!

This guy? Hahaha. Can't take this dude seriously after seeing him in some documentary talk about Tupac like he was some incredible revolutionary, almost like some god. It was embarrassing seeing a grown man talk like that, especially about artists who tend put on some fake image to the public. He was even preaching Tupac gospel in church in the documentary. Come on.

Marquis Berry 👍🏽It's was beautiful to hear it. Wasn't it, Mr. Berry? You deserve the best compliment you've ever heard as well. Too many of us withhold our appreciation and fail to articulate clearly and boldly the fine qualities we see in others. I'm sure you've been recognized as brilliant, talented, kind, courageous, handsome, valuable, moral, ethical and wonderful many times, by many people who were too shy, jealous or too cool to tell you. FACTS! Peace and love, fam! ❣️

People, this is an important fact. Kapernick, quit his job. He quit. He opted out of his contract. He could have been employed and received another 16 million, I think. This fact gets lost in the discussion. He quit his job and that is why he is un-employed

I'm black, I live in Kentucky and I have no idea of what he's talking about. I've had encounters with several cops since I moved here and I've never experienced that type of racism he describes. As a matter of fact, I was treated with respect and even once, was not given a speeding ticket I deserved. My in laws love me and respect me, same with my coworkers. Obviously, there are elements in our society, both white and black, that are ignorant and racist but to suggest that a white cop is waiting for an opportunity to shoot you is irresponsible, divisive and toxic.

Alfredo Bullen Just because it hasn't happen to you doesn't mean it's not true. The good cop bad cop argument is baseless and fiction there can be no bad cops if the so-called good cops would police them. So how can there be good cops if they allow the bad cops to do what they do.

Literally my favourite show you've ever done. As for the impact of Colin's actions. Professional footballers over here in the UK, of all races, continue to take the knee over 4 years later. The spectre of racism & social injustice may never be eradicated but awareness is still being spread to combat it.

Michael I think that if Collin had resigned as a protest against police brutality he would have a greater impact and potential support from the NFL. Dragging the NFL down as if he is fighting against NFL rather than fighting against police brutality is contradictory to his cause. is he protesting police brutality or fighting with the NFL here? He missed his mark I would say. I think had he resigned asking the NFL to stand against police brutality or else he wont play again he would have a stronger support here. Complaining of collusion as if the NFL is what your protesting against is just blind sided. Police brutality is his cause. He missed his mark that's for sure. The support he would have had is split in two, including some of who was his fans and supporters. Again, had he resigned from NFL and lamented he will not play until there is something done about police brutality is more than likely the NFL would be clamoring for him to come back. THATS MY TAKE......STRATEGY STRATEGY STRATEGY

Michael is very articulate. Rare to see people speak so intelligently nowadays, especially among us in the black community. It’s seen as “nerdy” and uncool but it’s not that at all. It’s better to be articulate with your speech like him in order to carefully and appropriately convey points.

In the past thirty years I have worked on or visited several military installations. To this day, I routinely witness us service members and government paid employees intentionally chose not to pay respect to reveille and retreat, which is the raising and lowering of the “flag” each day. Where’s the outrage. Are is it just not that serious…
