Michael has such an incredible opportunity in his life, not only to follow his father, but to experience his father’s masterwork from the inside out. I mean, I know Tony isn’t his dad, but there’s virtually nothing closer to having your father back than to step into his role after experiencing his work as an adult. It makes me wonder what it would be like to know my father now that I’m a man. I never knew him as a father, when I was a father.

It wasn't a terrible movie and it wasn't a great movie, it was just another average story in the Sopranos universe...like an episode of the show that takes a brief detour from the main storyline. All of the actors were exquisite, I'm not taking away from their superb job at all, but the movie was just a simple story and didn't even show everything we were waiting for (like young Tony eventually holding up that card game at gunpoint as a young man).
