20 years of serving in the U.S. Air Force, I have learned early on in my career that I had to keep my eyes, hands and thoughts to myself especially when it came to serving with women. Even the slightest innocent comment yet harmless interaction could be viewed as threatening and/or unwanted sexual advances towards a woman in uniform. At least twice in my career I was accused of making inappropriate comments towards a woman or women in uniform, but luckily there were witnesses to come to my defense. To this day, I do my best to not look women directly in the eye or in their direction unless it is to say hello or to have a direct, reasonable and professional conversation. It is scary to think this can happen to any man in a public setting. I hope Michael Irvin will get his JUSTICE and will clear his name, but we all know the damage is already done.

Why did she speak or want with Irwin? Why didn't she file a police report? Also, why would he say something explicit to her so quickly when she call him and the interact was so brief? I dont care how drunk he was unless he was unconscious he would remember a woman being upset about him saying something explicit to her. Irwin lawyer should have the lady, the hotel, the person she told (manager), the NFL and ESPN phone logs. On her phone they might notice certain call being made to set Irwin up. How long between the incident and when they contacted the NFL? *Why would they call the NFL first Irwin is not a active player? Yes he is an analyst. Irwin should have his wife file a lawsuit against Jane Doe, for pain and suffering, possible damage to her marriage and defamation of character. The women right lawyers will protect the lady from Irwin. However, it will cause them a racial conflict if they try to protect the lady against Irwin wife. Because his wife can claim she was mentality affected by the lady lies and public humiliation. Good move by Irwin lawyer to have the witnesses be present. Those two guys are the x factor in this case. If Irwin win he should give them a reward. Irwin lawyer should request a copy of the TMZ footage. That will validate the men mental condition. Why was TMZ there? That could be suspect also. If this turn out to be a set up. Its going to be the most expensive unprofessional lawsuit in NFL history.

Here is what I think happened. The employee he was chatting up was having an affair with the manager. The manager was married so kept it on the low. The woman was open to Irving advances and he noticed. When the manager confronted the employee, she lied and said it was an indecent proposal. She did not expect him to go crazy and in a fit of rage call the NFL out of pure jealousy. Marriott probably figured this all out, and are trying to stall and redirect everything, and not have to pay a huge settlement to Irving, so they are trying to build as much negative press against him. They know Irving is innocent but it will cost them a lot. THESE ARE THE FACTS AND THEY ARE UNDISPUTED. LOL!

If so, then please explain the legal aspects, such as, (1) Irvin's conduct policy (per employment agreement) or if you don't know it, then typical conduct policy and rules of behavior in his field of sports and broadcasting (2) the possible rules for complimenting women, expressing intetest in sexual activities, expressing an invitation to join (i.e. hook-up) in his room later, etc. (3) possible verbal threats made where Marriott employee can possibly face harm or job loss, etc. and (4) precedents on such conversational complaints when made in a public place including bars, clubs and hotel lounges.
