Mike was soo hurt and heart broken. He literally grew up watching James brown as a child. That was his number one idol and james treated him like a true child. They are finally together again in heaven and nothing can tear them apart.

Yeah, I heard that Papa Brown knew Michael since he was a little boy. He must've been one of Michael's best father figures not just idol. He actually treated him like a child should be treated. Makes sense since James was also abused by his own father just like Michael.

Michael was living in another country after the allegations and 2005 trial. He came out of exile to attend this funeral. He was thin and emotionally unwell but would not miss the funeral of his dear friend. Al Sharpton was telling the crowd that James Brown was more than upset about being unable to see MJ in his final days. He tells the crowd, "I don't care what the media says JAMES BROWN WANTED MICHAEL JACKSON HERE TODAY. The crowd was showing support to Jackson knowing how hard this public appearance was for him and letting him know "you belong here". James Brown would have wanted it. It hurts to see both of them gone. I got an adrenaline rush when Michael walked out. I had no idea 3 yrs later, The Only King would be laid to rest. It's hard to watch Michael walk around on any video. RIP to the GFOS and to the King.

I feel like what James Brown was to Michael is what Michael was to Usher, Touching how they pass on their inspirations and their respects.

Im kinda glad Michael is away from this dumpster of a planet and spending the rest of eternity with his idol up above.

James Brown was a very close friend of Elvis , James sat with Elvis' body over night at Graceland and talking with the family..James called Elvis his white soul brother and his inspiration..I hope there is a heaven and James is with Elvis and I hope MJ is there too ..god bless them all

First time I'm watching this and I reacted the same exact way you did, even before I read your beautiful comment. (I wasn't prepared when I cried, I didn't have tissue -- so I cried and sniffed, it was ugly.) It's true, what you said, Michael was an angel. He's drawn strength from people who believed in him, like you and me...and those people in this funeral who stood up and cheered upon announcement of his arrival.. No 'Boos'... just loud cheers. KING!!! God keep him and James Brown forever.

To Wisdom Wissy - You obviously don't recognise talent when you see it. MJ idolised James Brown and wanted to dance like him. That was his eulogy to James Brown.

Can't belive just 3 years later Michael had passed and just 3 years after Michael death Whitney had passed what i see there a pattern? Why are we losing such great stars in a time frame of just 3 years.
@KinkssNCoilss9 жыл бұрын
You're seeing what you want to see. For one, JB died Dec 06 and Michael died June 09. That's not 3 years. Same with Whitney who died in Feb of 2012. That's not 3 years either. People just always try and find "patterns" and "signs" in everything because they want to. Countless other celeb deaths don't fit into any "pattern."

@Jazzarai Jackson Facts always matter. People die everyday. There’s no “pattern” to see.
