With killer tracks ( Can you feel it, Lovely One, HeartBreak Hotel, Everybody.. basically all of tracks are winners ...This project kinda gets lost because of Off The Wall. I don't know why, but this song never fails to bring me to tears. It has such a fun and cheerful lyric, but I feel a strong mixture of nostalgia and melancholy everytime. A beautiful, soulful and timeless work of art. Always has been, always will be.

Micheal Jackson is a great singer, one of the best to have ever lived, but I am here for Louis Johnson’s bass playing. He is ON FIRE on this track! Thunder Thumbs can really rock that bass like no other. He holds down the groove but also keeps it interesting by playing sizzlingly awesome slap lines!

It's crazy how Michael got a pass for this album when Disco was seemingly on it's way out. The music was changing at this point and Mike delivered a classic adieu to an era perfectly blending Disco, Funk and R&B as a slap in the face to haters of those genres...

@@leyaluvz589 It's crazy because other artists dedicated to the genre of Disco were being crucified for perpetuating that sound i.e. The Bee Gees. Yet Michael was able to glide right through all the confusion and not be criticized greatly for it.
