There are people commenting on this thread who have absolutely no idea how sport and indeed life evolves. Of course Johnson's record was going to be beaten one day. People saying that Wayde Van Niekerk was better should consider that they ran in different eras. In 1968 Lee Evans broke the world record. In 1988 Butch Reynolds lowered it, before Johnson took it down further in 1999. People disparaging Johnson in favour of Wayde should understand that one day Wayde's record will be broken as well !

The difference being bolt clearly has an aptitude for running sprints at world record paces. You've likely never even googled NASA. cool example though, dork. git gud.
@Eggemeyers8 жыл бұрын
Timmy O'Toole Usain Bolt has run plenty of 400's in his life. He trained hard for the 400 in the early and mid 2000's but it just wasn't his forte (If you consider mid-45's bad...) So regardless, you are simply incorrect in your baseless statement that he would've run a sub 43.18 had he "ever trained the 4". He did train for the 400, he never got close to the record. He stopped so he could focus on the 100 and 200 exclusively. Had he spent more time focusing on the 400, he would've sacrificed some of his top end speed in the 100 and 200.
