Can you believe MJ was the first player to have a a triple Double in an Allstar game? The allstar games back then were not layup lines. The players wanted to compete against the best of the best. This is during a time when the allstars actually played defense and wanted to actually win the game.

Ah, yes- when high scores were the exception to just All Star Games and it wasn't because the "all stars" were letting each other score but rather because the players were really good even with the high intensity defense. And there were hard fought rivalries, and not just players showing off if they can shoot from half court. The modern All Star Game is truly pathetic in comparison.
@3rdeyelionheart11 ай бұрын
The all star jersey he played in his rookie season and then his last game in the all star game is monumental. This man was the beginning and the end of basketball. This era of basketball has great lazy talent and sit out during games when most of them are not even hurt but a charity case. Pretty sad. R.I.P. to the NBA and David Stern! 😢
