His elevantion, body and ball control are second to none he can still maintain control even when being subject to contact during the drive. Some of the defense are no joke the multiple shotblockers got the timing right but MJ is just too good that he has at least two more moves he can do to evade blocks while on the air (whereas the defender can only commit to one move once they leave the ground)

Ball Is Life One more thing. To top off being the best at everything in basketball.. I think, no I KNOW that MJ has the prettiest jumpshot of them all. More fluid than Ray Allen's if you ask me. Especially considering that MJ makes it so pretty even when it's an off balance shot in traffic. Allen was more of an upright, set shot and quick release. Jordan could take his time and still get a good look due to unprecedented elevation.

greatest all around player out there, bar none. I think one reason he hung onto the ball a little longer was to increase his FG% a little bit because his moves were unorthodox and as per his own words "not good fundamentals", because he was doing the PhD work, not 101, 201, 301. He was above the masters, he was literally taking lessons from the Doctor! So with all these weird moves his brain needed that extra .1-.2 to make one more calculation and then he'd release, and be Mr. clutch. I love how he raised his feet up like a hawk in flight, so he could hang that much longer before putting them back down when he finally came low enough. It's a Golden tiger move (kung fu), or wudang Flying technique. It gives the appearance of major hops, and indeed his vertical was good (not nearly the record, though). But no one seemed to fly in the pros with that huge frame as well as he did. Later he filled out and it was sad to see that go away, and he became the King of the Fadeaway. Another great move but I really love watching young MJ do his kungfu above the rim. My favorite dunk is the backwards one, head skirting rim and into net, second fav is side lunge and third is FT line (final attempt, 88) (hon mention, cradle to your grave!). What's yours?
