@@Troublesome_96 no not anyone could have been a winner with that team. Pippen was the only all star player on the Bulls that averaged 19 points a game. Everyother player scored much less and most in single digits. You need to remember 6 of the Bulls Championship teams Jordan had 4 of those teams were the "lowest Scoring supporting cast in a finals win." Its not like Jordan had multiple guys scoring 20+ points a game. Those rings were won on Jordans skills, triangle offense and the Bulls smothering defense. Besides 2001 Lakers was stacked with Shaq averaging 33 pts a game and kobe with 24 pts a game.

Check out the MJ interview after the game. Dripping sweat, obviously exhausted and yet he gives a detailed, incisive and accurate assessment of the game. People don't give Jordan nearly enough credit for how intelligent he was on the court. He read the game masterfully as anyone, rarely forced bad passes, knew just when to turn up the defensive pressure, studied & knew how to best exploit the weaknesses of his opponents. All that with his supreme athleticism made him unstoppable during his peak.

1:05-1:09 was just such a smooth play by Jordan. He was just ridiculous. No one better. I also love how he goes right by an aggressive Satckhouse at 2:28 without needing any sort of silly ballhandling to get Stack off balance. Just pure explosiveness on the first step. Jordan is the only guy I've ever seen who could consistently just face up, pick a direction, and explode in that direction and get past any defender no matter how good.

I'm a huge AI fan. you can find the reason why Jordan can speak that way through AI negligence, it's in his practice. That's the reason why Jordan grew so powerful amongst even the elite of the game. Same goes for all of us in our purpose.

@p0lter710 жыл бұрын
That's such bullshit. You either have a basketball IQ or you don't. Has nothing to do with trying or not. You read the game better then the other or you don't. Nothing more to it. Also to be fair, MJ was one hell of a player. Probably the best ever indeed. But he didn't have the highest basketball IQ. Far far far from if you ask me.
@TheChannelThatTimeForgot10 жыл бұрын
COMPLETELY agree. Kobe is great, no doubt, but he forces the issue SO much. Jordan was so fluid and calculating on the court, especially during the second 3peat. He really did make the game look effortless. And I would easily say he had one of the highest ball IQ's in the NBA. You could see that in total effect when he came back and played for the Wizards, he was a 40 year old man schooling younger, faster, and sometimes stronger opponents with his skill and patience on the court. The greatest of all time.
@williambernardbrown10 жыл бұрын
It wasn't effortless as it appeared. Did you see Jordan's interview at the end. It gives you the clue why he was so good. "Practice" Although Jordan didn't say this word it is definitely what Jordan was shooting at. He even analyzed Iverson to the "T" and was right on point basicly predicting his career. If Iverson had got better he would be in the talks as possibly the best ever similar to the way Kobe is. But he never reached his full potential because he wasn't a student of the game like Jordan was.
@achozenfew10 жыл бұрын
You can't give somebody work ethic. Jordan had a work ethic that was not from this world. Iverson had the best skills along with TMAC and some others, but the work ethic wasn't there. Iverson didn't want to go to practice and that's just an example. Kobe is basically a carbon copy of M.J but he was an awesome player!
