That's a fair proposal. However, the rent caps are discouraging private landlords and existing landlords and thus limiting supply. Secondly , planning needs to be decentralised to the 4 Provincial regions ) abolish county councils). Finally , Irish Water is a monster to deal with and they're not laying pipes or they're charging developers ridiculous fees for connections . Irish water needs to be broken up and regionalised to river basins similar to Thames water, Severn Trent in UK. We need to have houses to hand to people that upsticks in Australia or Canada. Hospitals and garda stations should be providing their staff with homes for a start.

I would reword that to "Encourage **Irish** immigrants to come back". Only saying "Immigrants" can be misconstrued. We've already had illegal non-irish "Immigrants come back" after leaving for the UK, but then realising they had more benefits in Ireland and returning. Just saying.

They have let so many people into the country over the last 10 years , that is why we have a housing crisis. The schools ,GP, hospitals, garda, prison service ,etc ,can't cope with the large increase in population in such a short number of years .

I havent had our local ifp knock at door hope he will fg just threw leaftet in door ff knocked i told the old woman its dark and cold not safe walking dublin no sign of man on leaflet ..pbp knocked at doors stood on each road if anyone wanted to ask anything lol labour put leaflets in door.sf handed out leaflets wouldnt vote any of this shower .hope small partys and indepents call it means a lot to public

Hello Michael . How do you feel about the building beautiful movement in the UK ? Is it something that should be pushed in Ireland. If we're going to build in a big way should we not make it beautiful. Courtyards , court gardens. Decent balconies in apartment where you can sit out and have dinner on for days , decent storage for suitcases, boxes and spirts equipment. Classical facades for mental health etc etc

The people in the North of Ireland and the people of the South of Ireland need to come together and stand United. British Unionist in the North of Ireland need to let go of the idea of loyalism. It's clear that Sinn Féin betrayed Ireland, and the Unionist party betrayed the British . So why not all work together for a United Ireland? Just a thought as an Englishman who can see the greater picture. Restore the 32 counties lay aside differences of opinions. If not all of Europe will be replaced . Anyway not to get invited with Irish politics. I'm sure you will chose your own destiny.
