dwight schrute really? Double jeopardy in law means you can’t be sued or forced to defend yourself on the same crime twice after the first trial has ended. Michael thinks that by having two things involving the company somehow exonerates him from a lawsuit (double jeopardy) but he doesn’t actually understand what it is. When he’s told he doesn’t know what it is by Wallace, he answers by saying “What is we are fine” which is the way they answer questions on the show Jeopardy, which has nothing to do with law or what happened but it’s just michael being michael
