Then they decided to add the trash can in the second take but keep half of the first takes to save time because there were too many cuts and it was a minor detail. Just my thought.

I don't know why, but Ron's response to April asking for the birds is such a great parenting moment. He asks the cost, then praises her for finding a good deal. Whenever I asked for something as a child, if I was allowed it, it was always with a "fine" or "ok, but that's all", as if my wanting something was a bug rather than a feature. A burden I was ashamed to put on my parents, so I ended up never asking for anything, and making do with what I had. My parents weren't stingy by any means, they made my birthday and xmases amazing with lots of presents that they knew I would love. I'm sure it was unintentional, but the way they would respond made me learn to never ask for anything unless it was for one of the two gift days. Seeing Ron be like "not only can you have it, you did a good job in choosing it" to his daughter-figure really sticks with me as the kind of attitude I'd want to bring to my own children one day.

I love the Food and Stuff clip, because when I was younger my dad legitimately shopped at a place just like it. My mom went to the bigger chain stores to get groceries for the house, but dad always brought home the oddest snacks. It legitimately looked like a pawn shop with food. Not in it's own, food specific area, but just canned goods and ramen just next to toilet seats and hoses just like in this clip. It was amazing
