I've just done a big online order of clearance yarn over in the UK because I need it for my crochet business. In business you have to grab offers when you can. If you'd bought the same yarn on offer on line no one would have queried your purchase. Nuts isn't it. I detest keyboard warriors. You keep doing what you do girl. We love to watch your progress ❤

What a fun shopping spree! I hate shopping except for yarn! To those who are so bothered by the amount of yarn she bought, you do realize that she runs a crochet business and this allows her to do so at a more affordable cost to her. Seriously....get over yourself. If the stores thought it was an issue they would limit the number of skeins that a person can buy. If you wanted that yarn then you should have gotten off your butt and gone to buy it sooner. Your issue with timing isn't her fault, not her problem. FFS, grow up!

Each thing would be different depending on the pattern size and skein. Each skein has different yardage. Each pattern will need different yardage.

Michael's in Canada is like that, 1 store will have items on clearance and others won't.. even if you ask the staff they will tell you that each store marks down independently..

When in doubt, always take one or any in question to the scanner. They don’t always mark the clearance items. I’m told that the app helps but, I’m not into apps so, I just use the check the price scanner.

I had! At the one store they weren’t on clearance and then I had the manager scan them and they weren’t getting discontinued in her scanner either or in the app yet. The next week they were all marked down.

Got the Caron Skinny Cakes for $5.00 ea at 2 Michaels in my area. 300 that is. I really like the Hobby Lobby clearance but you have to be there when they are marking them down. That has only happened once for me. It is great fun but with the price of yarn, I see no other way.
