Is Michael Shermer encoded in this video? Because I can't find him anywhere.

You have to believe he's there to see him. Also, turn off the video and turn on one with him in. That's the key to decoding a hidden Shermer.
@martinm63685 жыл бұрын
Of course Michael Schermer can be found here. Simply download the video, read it backwards as an ASCII file, shift the letters by 8 and search for his name in the resulting text. You'll find all his dirty secrets exposed in vague messages.

i love that the rabbi uses "cockamamie" for the code just after he says that god gave them the torah. ridiculous
@magaroam2 жыл бұрын
The number of the sequence itself is relevant as well. Once you begin to compound the relevancy and layers of improbability, that paints a different picture entirely than their analogy. Also, I like how with the Moby Dick comparison that they found a word encoded and then used it like a crossword puzzle for a fully developed word already written in the regular script. It shows that they did not use the equal distant letter sequence entirely on its own but rather wrapped other methods unto one another in order to produce the likeness of the Bible code. Once again, everything else is held up to the comparison and universal standard of truth of God’s word. All comparisons perpetually fall short of proving anything other than the glory of God.

The Bible has what we need for salvation and direction in this life in about any translation. We don't need the codes and prophecies to find Jesus because he reveals himslef. You can laugh at this if you havnt experienced it but I had my very curved and painful spine straighten out in an Instant when I was prayed for and I've encountered the holy spirit on too many occasions to list. Again I totally would laugh at someone saying this if it hadn't happened to me. I don't go big on the bible codes that Computers find but simple bible codes like every 49 letters in the ancient hebrew at the start of each book spell outs the word "Torah" then the name of Jesus. You can't do that in any other book. Most rabbis do not believe in Jesus so they will have biased videos like this where they just look at the codes you can defame rather Than an over all unbiased look at many that you cannot replicate or explain away. Yes I'm Sure using computers we can find things that allude to all kinds of past events in other books but the Torah codes are much more complex when looked at as a whole.

That is the smarts question of all the comments here. Why does god test our faith? Does he want some or most of us to fail? Is this all just a sick game for god to play with his little sheep? What loving god does these sorts of things? This is not the action of a loving god. This is the action of a sycophant. This is the action of a sadist.

You don’t even believe that if god let us know he was real we’d be mindless drones because the old test Jews had proof, the disciples knew, satan knew and the angels knew and they all made free will choices to follow or not. You make comments like this because you have to forget what you know to explain what you see in reality.

Sounds like you haven’t read the Old Testament or know the narrative but in the Bible god used to be obvious as fuck. Pilar of fire, crazy miracles, giant clouds with his voice booming and even passing tests to show he was real. All that sounds like the Jews had proof god was real, at least in the biblical narrative.

It's also easier to find codes in the Hebrew Bible because Hebrew has no vowels. This means that a mishmash of random Hebrew letters is more likely to result in meaningful words than a similar grouping of English letters. A better test would be to try to find codes in the Hebrew version of Moby Dick.

I would have to say that I believe in some of them while I believe some are just statistical anomalies or just aren’t astounding enough to use as proof of their existence. "When relevant words cluster" is a strong argument for formula for the Bible Code. But take this work to the next level. Apply CALDWELL'S CUBE to it and see what it reveals. This will enable you to view the scripture in 3 dimensions instead of just 2. If what I'm talking about escapes you please visit CALDWELL'S CUBE parts 1 & 2 here on youtube. There might be more "Clusters of relevant words" in hiding the scriptures this way than we've found just examining it in 2 dimensions. .

The main message is, that it is not the way god talks to us. He's not making a quiz out of it. He's not placing a mathematical genius before all the other people. When he exists he speaks to us by the things he does. And that's the clearest language, even an animal understands.

Technically its similar to Data Mining. If you get a large amount of any data and look for a particular pattern in it with a computer, given enough computing you have a good chance of finding a spurious result that matches your expectations. Although in Data Mining you look for patterns, in this bible code you look for phrases in the text by trying out different patterns until you find what you wanted to find. Enough Iterations and you get prophecy. Belief at any cost.

I saw one believer justify it as being done intentionally because it contains prophecies meant today. The prophecies we find for past events that couldn't be discovered till now were just included so we can scientifically do hind-sight prophecy tests to prove the code as real. *shrugs*

The best argument for the Bible code that I see is that Michael Drosnin found a message in the Bible code which told that a man ( Yitzak ) would die a few years later, and he did ( 0:28 ). I don't think that the chance of a man with just the right name and died (and in the predicted year) just as the Bible code said would be not be very good if it not was put there by an intelligence. The code at 4:59 has a larger probability to be put there by chance because it is not giving any specific year.

I am a man of science and a man of God. Say what you will about it and I've probably already heard it before. Religion and science are two branches of the same tree. Science helps us to understand the universe God has created for us. Science is a way for us to explore and learn and become closer to God, not further from him. There is no reason science and religion cannot coexist. Do not attack my faith. I will do likewise.

0:45- It's the peanut butter creationist! Considering that the letters can be any number of spaces apart, and the fact that Hebrew has no written vowel sounds, it's simple to find "messages." The word "PRS" for instance: A WWII-related code would be "Paris." But what about: "Price","purse","pores","pours","peers","piers","pyres", "press","peruse","pursue","pears","pairs","priss","prays", "preys","porous"? There is so much flexibility that the "code words" can say just about anything.
