I'll say it again and again. We aren't saved by Perfect theology we are saved by the blood of Christ Jesus. There is no such thing as a perfect Bible teacher on this Earth who has 100% correct theology, yet God still uses these imperfect preachers to save souls. I'm in no way saying we don't strive to be right, but someone's salvation is not dependent on us speaking everything perfectly articulate. One man sows, another waters but God gives increase.

I agree. In the Bible, Jesus says, "The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in me." John 16:9 NLT Forgiveness of sins is given to those who repent of their unbelief in Jesus and instead put their faith (their trust) in Jesus for the forgiveness of sins which makes them right with God. Then God will work in you to both do and desire to do his desires which is good, pleasing and perfect.

Mike Todd’s presentation on Porn Addiction was the video that convicted me after not addressing the issue within myself. I was overwhelmed with the way he spoke exactly to what my day to day life dealing with lust was like, and how that was stopping me from fully understanding Gods plan for relationships. Although I don’t always agree with every video he puts out, it was a huge reason I looked into my personal conviction and tested them against scripture and for the most part they both aligned against my opinion at the time. I’ve since have reframed from the those actions and watching the wrong things and it’s guided me to a stronger relationship with Christ. 🙏🏼✝️

Having a genuine heart for the Lord will show in the way one teaches the Word of God. If you are not teaching sound doctrine, focusing on prosperity Gospel, you are leading people astray and doing the opposite of what God tells us to do in his Word, “you go in the world, tell everyone the Good News”, The Good News is the finished work of the Cross. It is not God’s will for anyone to perish, so any teacher who has a genuine heart for God will want the same things God wants, and will show it by what they teach. Yes, no body is perfect but if you are always on the wrong side of doctrine, then there’s a great cause for concern.

I know Mike Todd gets a lot of hate for being a visual teacher. But coming from someone who has always been a visual learner I can say his sermons have helped me a lot. I can only speak from my experience. When I was new to the faith in 2019 his relationship goals series was the reason I actually decided to take my purity journey seriously. Back then his teaching style helped me to actually understand the word especially when I was struggling with that heavily at the time. Even now, God uses Mike Todd to bring certain things to my attention and his teachings have aided in my deliverance from a number of things. Mike Todd may not be for everyone & that’s fine, I believe the people who are called to receive from him will. You will know Gods people by their fruit and so many people in my personal life including myself can testify that Mike Todd has produced great fruit in their life. So what he has church in an arena with lights & cameras… those lights & cameras have allowed his church to reach nations. I think people forget TC didn’t start out that way, that was all Gods doing. Mike Todd & the TC team were obedient, moved on faith & God is elevating them 🙌🏾

My thing is Pastor Mike Todd has become carnal. Any teacher, preacher, prophet, etc can fall victim to carnality when THEIR message is bigger than the gospel. He had a great delivery however too much carnality. He desires to be liked and that is an issue for me. I used to listen, but I had to stop when he made excuses for his carnality, his sin, his mistakes. I also don’t like the many “name drops” of those in the world living contrary to the word. I made a tiktok about him using the word out of context and then basically bragging that he uses profanity all the time. To me that is a major issue that needs to be addressed ans it further points out that he is too carnal. We all fall short. We should repent daily to ensure we are walking right before God. But to minimu😮sin and to act as if it’s no big deal is a issue. Ans the spit scene. Bro was doing an example. Jesus did miracles not examples. It was a carnal move.

Nah, we should lean into conversations like this. And my guess is neither of you even watched the full video. 3. Just scroll on my videos and public lives. Pastor Micheal Todd helped me so much through my journey upon finding Jesus in my late 30s. I am a visual learner and his method is God sent. I grew up Buddhist so I didn’t know anything about the Lord and he put so many things into perspective and made it make sense for someone like me, who simply wanted to learn the Lord and his ways. He has helped me interpret biblical terminology that i didn’t quite understand initially and often still struggle with. I loved his visuals and still do. Praying with fire, crazy faith and Bamboo season are hands down, my favorite sermons. I can watch them over and over again and I get a different message every time I listen. He appeals to people of my generation and younger and it’s so refreshing! Pastor Todd is proof that God can use anyone. His success is all God. 💙 “Your imagination is purified in intercession” - Pastor Todd.

Bro a pastors job is not easy we gotta start giving these people as much grace and mercy as God gives all of us day to day no one is going to be perfect and the pressure on them shouldn't be this crazy, they are men being used by the most High to relay his message to the masses. As long as they are correct on Salvation and the gospel we shouldn't be picking them apart so much, because most of the disagreements come on secondary issues where people's personal opinions come in, with that being said whenever I find myself in this position I go back to Proverbs 3:5-6 and pray cause if I disagree with another Christian and they disagree with me we're both bound to be wrong on the basised stances we hold on a certain topic and we need to stop and pray and ask God for his wisdom and fore knowledge because it is Yahweh working through the Holy Spirit to reveal all things to us. Also certain people have certain gifts that God himself amplifies in order to reach a certain audience based on the culture and how the group of people learn. Just do a further examination of the synoptic gospels they tell the same story/give the same history but in different ways based on the audience, culture, and group of people they were giving the gospel to. So lets relax everyone take a breath and chill with the false teacher thing especially if they are teaching the correct gospel and Salvation message. Again family read Proverbs 3:5-6 lock that verse down for future reference God bless

Your average church pastor here is teaching on some stage/platform giving a sermon, has a green room where either the worship team/or guest speakers go before getting in-front of the congregation. Almost EVERYONE has a sound board or some sort of sound system. VIPs as we heard from Ruslans mega church pastor friend it’s good to have that for some celebrities so random fans aren’t distracting/fanboying over people who are just there to hear Gods Word. Every church has lights, every pastor wears what they consider to be “nice clothes” comedy is apart of a lot pastors delivery, it’s them being authentic in their delivery it’s how they speak. And as far as “bling” so what? Unless you have proof saying he bought that with tithe money it doesn’t matter. Mike Todd as a pastor and Transformation as a church has poured MILLIONS into local and non local ministries, and into their local community, and serving their city literally being the church to the unchurched. So to answer your question, Church. Mike Todd at Transformation on Sundays looks like church, different than yours and mine yes, but still a church 🙏🏾

We can respect a man or woman of God and sometimes I disagree with them. Still, for some reason it seems like Michael Todd receives a lot of attacks, but I wonder if people have tried to reach out tho to him to correct him or advice him. I think as Christians we need pray for these pastors and if possible reach out to them to share our concerns about their behavior or teachings instead of attacking them publicly on social media and telling Christian’s not to watch their sermons. We need to help each other improve and overcome our shortcomings, that’s what the church is for and that’s what God called us to do.

Any Teacher who has a genuine heart for the Lord will show it in the way he teaches the Word of God. If you are not teaching sound doctrine, if you are focusing on prosperity Gospel, you are leading people astray and doing the opposite of what the word of God tells us to do. Mark 16: 15 “…So wherever you go in the world, tell everyone the Good News…”, The Good News is the finished work of the Cross. It is not God’s will for anyone to perish, so any teacher who has a genuine heart for God will want the same things God wants, and will show it by what they teach. Yes, no body is perfect but if you are always on the wrong side of doctrine, then there’s a great cause for concern

I think it’s okay for people to get things wrong sometimes and maybe even do too much in their sermon. But getting doctrinal stuff wrong and presenting them as truth and getting things that matter wrong over and over again that’s where I draw the line

The problem with Mike Todd is that he tries to make Scripture fit into his teaching, rather than conform his teaching to SCRIPTURE! He does this often. That is not good, especially for new believers. Anyone who seeks absolute truth in GOD'S WORD alone, will not remain an attendee at TC for very long. Those who remain, are not likely to have a real invasive study in the Word of GOD, and are only looking for the promised blessings that Mike Todd teaches about. Mike Todd is the very example of 2 Timothy 4:3 -"For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,..."

Sooo! People make mistakes, clearly he is a man that has matured & is moving on. I can relate somewhat to him. My Child always didn't like who was around me. I raised her right after me & her father separated. I got married & she still wasn't happy because she wasn't 1# anymore & I choose me. That is what's wrong with Steve's kids. They see him as money bags & they looked at her as taking away their father & money. People can change! Yes, he was married 3 times, so what. He without Sin cast the 1st stone. If he loses all his money then he loses all his money. He worked for it. They didn't. If they want to be out of his life because he didn't do what they wanted him to do then bye! He is a grown man if he falls again will be on him period! We as parents have to decide once our children are grown they need a life when we take ours back. They need a life & leave parents alone. They are grown, get your own. I always see black children always meddle in their parents life when money is associated & when it is gone you barely hear from them. Facts... That's my $0.02

Who is he accountable to? Who is correcting him and is he even listening? This compromising is over the top. We just accept anything and everyone for everything etc...we don't even go to the bible anymore. It's always what we "feel" and not what the BIBLE teaches. It's so sad.

Unfortunately mike todd does not preach out against sin. It's the word of faith, seeker friendly, prosperity message. It's consistent with him and he eisogetes the scripture. I can provide many examples why you shouldn't listen to him if you want, but really you can just look it up for yourself. I don't know how he lives his life daily however Jesus says out of the abundance of the heart your mouth will speak so I can say with clarity he is a false teacher. Please really think about what Jesus is saying 🙏. I hate being critical of people yet we need to understand scripture in its appropriate context not what the culture in America has made it out to be! God bless the true saints in the Lord 🙏

I am not follower of his church but I heard a message from him about holiness so I think we actually need to understand that not everybody appeals to the same audience and that’s ok we have our preference , don’t just make accusations before actually gathering facts , but I guess you are only speaking from what you know , 1 Corinthians 4: 5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. anyways pray for him God bless you 🙏🏿

@Grace Faith sorry for the late reply meant to do it sooner but for sake of argument and in your own words to be fair, yes he has touched on some topics, however.... just as previously mentioned he may say something here or there just like anyone with half of a brain will say porn is wrong. A clock is right twice a day am I correct. Galatians 5:9 and 1 Corinthians 5:6 eludes to the fact that even the smallest of things that are not lined up with sound doctrine and understanding will branch off into other areas of a persons world view affecting the total truth of God's word. Again I Reiterate he claims that Jesus potential was never fulfilled as well as homosexuals being brothers/sisters in the body of Christ as well preaching modalism which is denies the Trinity. I'm sorry but he doesn't consistently preach about sin. The Bible is about turning away from sin to have a relationship with God through Christ. That has to be the reoccurring message from the pulpit. People want to hear messages regarding encouragement in this life but the fact remains that this life is but a vapor (james 4:14). It's not about what we want here but how we can carry our cross and deny ourselves and our sinful nature (Matthew 16:24‭-‬27 & Revelation 4:11). He eisogetes scripture constantly!

The end of this conversations is the key to my problem with Mike Todd and just pastors who are like him. He is unapproachable, actually having a conversations with him is near impossible because he is so busy. This all happened before a year ago. I remember I was on my phone in living room and suddenly I had this thoughts, intrusive I would say about that plucking eyebrows is a sin. I have a unibrow. And my anxiety began here. I felt so scared and anxious I didnt know what to do. I searched on internet to see if it was a sin or not. I saw everything on internet. That it is, that it isn’t, etc. But my fear couldn’t stop so I promised to God I wouldn’t do it anymore. But I didnt want to promise but I didnt know what else to do. My fear disappeared. About 1 week passed and I was good. And then same happened with shaving my legs, armpits. Even playing basketball was in my mind somehow that it is sin. That all confused me. I felt so lost, confused and I still am. And whenever I see post on instagram about God saying: let it go, I have something better it makes me anxious. I then feel fear that God doesnt want me to do that but then I read in Collosians about freedom and I kinda know what it means to be legalist. But fear in me wants to make me sure that I need to know everything is good, that something isn’t a sin. I guess that anxiety and OCD. I know this sound kinda funny but this is my reality sadly. My mind thinks that if I promised I wouldnt do it and when I said to God I am letting that go that I cant do that anymore. I am so confused. Mostly everything in the Bible gives me anxiety. Verses that give me most anxiety are Jesuses saying in gospels: He who saves his life shall lose it, what if man gains the whole world but loses his soul and deny yourself. This gives me so so much anxiety that those verses are always on my mind and I always think about them. I somehow think that if I pluck my eyebrows I am saving my life, etc. I just cant be at peace. And I don’t understand how are we saved by faith and this is what Jesus says. And when it says that we are free from the law, it says in the law to not shave or something like that, am I free to shave? I am so confused and anxious. I used to be so at peace before and I felt so happy with God. Now Im so anxious and scared. So can I pluck eyebrows and shave? I want to be pretty for my future wife and to take care of myself. Is God telling me to let it go? But I want to do that.
@keyerajohnson7175
@keyerajohnson7175 Жыл бұрын
Hello, Shaving is not a sin. You can shave. And you can pluck your eyebrows. Also don’t try to focus on if this is a sin or is that a sin. That can be exhausting and interfere with your relationship with God. I have felt like that as well and then I realized I was more focused on trying not to sin that I was not building my relationship with God. No one is perfect so we will sin at times. So many biblical figures sin also. The Bible mentioned that even our first father sinned. Yes we can do our best to not sin and live holy but we will mess up. What you want to do is just focus on building your relationship with God and then things will make sense. Mathew 6:33 God wants a relationship with you so stay in the word if you feel anxious. (Proverbs 12:25) For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self control. (2 Timothy 1:7)

When we are in turmoil , or see others struggling we should pray for the We need to go in the direction of praying for those that we see struggling or mistakes so when do we allow for correction no matter what the word is Truth so we should not stand on our own understanding but to find truth in the word let’s not divide the enemy want that and no one should be offended if a comment is made about “your” leader , because they have a responsibility and God has to see it through but to help them we need to pray for them.

I wouldn't refer Mike Todd to be listened to as far as a biblical teacher. He's better off doing motivational speeches than he is preaching a biblical sermon. He's borderline prosperity as well. He hangs around Joel Olsteen. However, I am not as harsh as some. What I said may be harsh but I've heard harsher on Mike Todd. I believe he is still a Christian that has been lead wrong on biblical knowledge on how to translate the Bible. Bruh go look at Allen Parr's youtube rebuke on Mike Todd. His video is super on point about Mike Todd. Pray for the brother Mike Todd man. But as of right now, I will not refer his teachings to anyone. I can't do it.
