I remember a murmur of genuine astonishment, from your audience at the Magic Circle, when I first saw you perform that final vanish. Beautifully done.

That moment when you picked up the coins at the end of the routine and then showed your hands empty just blown my mind. By the way I would like to thank you, I received my book "stars of magic". Very interesting routines in it. 🙏

There are many problems with KZbin, but having insight from a master like you is one of the gifts in this life. As an aside, I’m a musician, not a magician at all, doesn’t matter, you have the ability, built over many years of training, to keep my eyes, and mind fixed on your hands. A once in a lifetime magician.

Fantastic!!! I love the ending you added to The Oriental Coins. Doug Conn performed Convergence on his channel last year; another well thought out Takagi miracle. As an FYI to your channel members, this book is back in print and available from Vanishing Inc.

Wow this was a surprise! I never thought this would be part of your series. I thought you'd cover books you often mention, such as those of Ortiz's, Jennings's, Enfield's magic and so on. But here's something completely new! I really hope your future uploads follow suit. Btw, I have this book and this is one of the tricks which stood out to me - never seen the method used here in another trick. I got this book along with Japan Ingenious, and if you haven't read that there are some real gems in there.

I appreciate your kind thoughts. Yes, something different from my library. I appreciate this book. The magic is beautiful. It’s a great study in construction, design and narrative. Thanks

Michael, I don’t have this book but our libraries do share several titles. One point you made resonates with me. That is, for one to grow their knowledge in unexpected ways, explorer a book from someone off the beaten track or simply by someone who is in some manner, ‘new’ to the reader.

Hello Michael, I always look forward to new posts from you. I consider myself a student of magic. When I’m watching your videos I certainly value the information that you give us. But I also try to read between the lines and carefully listen to the words that you choose to describe your thoughts and feelings about our art. One of the words that I notice you use often is “conversation“. I thought about this a lot in the last several days -conversation is a great word. I have tried to ask myself how I can make my presentations less about “look what I can do“ and more about “here’s something I want to share with you”. In the words of Robert Frost-that has made all the difference. My thanks for your diligence and steadfastness in imparting art, dignity and humanity to our art.

This is so very enjoyable to watch! It brings such joy and wonder. I don't even want to know how it's done. I once saw a gentleman on Fool Us use a piece of cork and I think a film container in a variation of this routine and with all of you that perform it, it is just so masterful and so amazing.

Note from Paul A. Lelekis - Brilliant Michael! I don't know if you remember me but a while back I was the Parade Editor for the One Man Parade of The Linking Ring (as well as consultant and reviewer) and you had asked me for a One-Man Parade. I was delighted! But you apparently changed your mind...and I'll admit I was a bit saddened because I loved your expert sleight of hand, attention to detail, and the classics of magic - of which I am also an ardent student. I wish you the very best in your career my friend!
