Hi Michael, I've recently started watching your reaction on Dandadan and enjoying it so much! Since I'm from Japan and went to school there, please let me explain 3 things below. You might know them but just in case if you don't, they might explain more about this episode of Dandadan :) 1. Taro & Hana are called Jintai Mokei, human anatomical models. It's very common for schools in Japan have them ready for biology class. 2. A lot of school in Japan have their own "Nana fushigi (Seven mysteries)". It's basically 7 ghost stories related to the school. They're passed through generations of students. A human anatomical models exiling in the school building during the night is commonly appeared as one of them. 3. The voice of Taro is acted by Tomokazu Sugita. He was Gintoki in Gintama (Silver Soul) and Himejima in Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) Hope this helps. Looking forward to your reaction to the next episode :)

Funny that you mention the running puppet guy and Jojo's because the scene here in Dadadan with him disassembling himself and reassembling right after while still running was taken directly out of Jojo's part 4 in the episode where Crazy Diamond breaks the motorbike Josuke is riding on to make him fly above a baby crossing the street just to reassemble the bike after he's passed it. Edit: also, take a look at the new guy's name. Enjoji Jin. enjoJI JIn. JIJI. Sounds familiar, right? Perhaps there is someone whose last name ends with the same syllable that starts the first name, which also happens to have the letter J on it. Maybe J + o? Kujo Jotaro? kuJO JOtaro? JOJO?

That is what I think a lot of mc’s lack, having more depth outside of standard tropes (atlest this early in the series)

On the "Goober" scale of characters in Dandadan, Jiji is the most goober of the goobers. I can't wait for you to see more of him. I have to say though that the stand out scene has to be the love confession at the garbage dump between Taro and Hana. Science Saru did not have to go all in on that, but I appreciate it. It's time for Okarun to focus up and let it be known that Momo is his one of one, his only one. Season finale next week...😭

I also think after the situation with Aira, she wants to be more honest with her feelings. Ken has been honest twice, even to his discomfort. He’s capable of being honest in front of other ppl and when they talked in the nurse’s office. I think she wants to reciprocate and show that she appreciates him. Aira being so openly affectionate also probably has made her want to do it too. I don’t think Momo has caught on to his insecurity. Cuz to her, there isn’t a need to be insecure.
