Micheal Bolton's career, from his rocking days of the 70's until about 1985, thru his metamorphasis to "crooner," show one thing...he was a ferocious talent. He was a GREAT guitar player and songwriter (often overlooked because of his world class pipes) and even at this point in his career, you could tell he still had an affection for AOR rock. You change the arrangement on this song slightly, and you have a Top 10 Bon Jovi hit.

Got my own story to tell. I saw Michael live back in 2013. It was a sit down show, so I grabbed a glass of wine and took my seat. The show was incredible but one guy wanted to propose to his girlfriend. He somehow got Michael to relay the message that he was proposing. The look on the girl's face was absolutely priceless and neither of her eyes were dry unsurprisingly as Michael handed her the engagement ring. Then after a couple of songs, he performed this epic masterpiece. The crowd just blew up and just sang their hearts out having already been charged up by the engagement. I know I shed a few tears singing one of my all time favourite songs of his since childhood.

@@chynorawhite9142 Every decade had its shit music. The 70s had Bay city rollers. The 80s had Winger. An I dont care what nostalgia starved 90s kids say. The boybands and every over produced act that came on that fucking TRL show sucked. My point is there will always be bad artists, but that shouldn't discourage someone from seeking out good music.

Best voice ever of all times !!!! I’m on my early 30 and this is one of my best singers that I have ever listened to!!! Thank you for your music Bolton
@brandybrooks41926 жыл бұрын
I agree! I was born in December of 1992 and I listened to 80's music growing up and even now. My parents always had it playing and I always wished I could have been alive then like in my teens so I could have really appreciated the music. The 80's music just had a different feel, essence and emotion. Every time I listen to that music it's like it takes me back. No music will ever be the same or compare to that time. There was just something unique and special about it. I also love Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston and of course Michael Bolton! I listen to him almost everyday. There is just something about his voice that no other singer has. He definitely has a gift and has been blessed!
