The key was the bird, he had a parrot that would mimic Alison's drawing, we all know parrots are good for mimic. He already had the picture of Alison as he drew it, but the parrot did the dirty work of replicating Alison's one. Well done though

I figured that there was 2 sheets of paper and he bled the marker through with the squeaky sound so there was two copies. He then covered her drawing with the copy and he just left that piece in the envelope when he pulled it out.

@@midwestweirdo666 The name drop was about another magician I'm guessing, but talking about birds I think was just a way to bring up arms. The arms on his Alison portrait weren't the same at the reveal as they were when he drew them originally, so that portrait must have been pre drawn and already on her canvas and he tried to replicate it. Extremelly slick with the switches however/whenever he's doing that though.

Despite the differences people have pointed out with the drawings, I still think this a really good trick by Michael - I've been going back and forth frame by frame and I can't see any actual switch, or actually detect anything suspicious when he slides it out of the envelope, other than doing so cautiously and horizontally. If a sheet of paper has to physically move from one frame to the other, then I can't see any flapping about (as Penn hints at), merely light coming off the glass which matches the reflections you'd expect. I'm highly suspicious about the frames themselves, and the way he tightly holds them together like that, but…

Was the "flap" part of Penn talking about paper flapping and not staying in place? I noticed he had to hold the paper down and then when he put the one on top of the other it fell before he concealed it a bit. I just don't get the birds and arms and flapping keywords haha. Was a neat trick though. Without video I would not have seen anything that would have given it away at all.

No. Allison's signature was shown being put in the envelope, not her drawing, and her signature wasn't shown coming out of the envelope, just her drawing. I'm guessing the magic happened during the 'recap'

Not even going to bother to replay the video or anything just on the top of my head to figure it out- alsyon’s drawing got transferred when it was face down and she ‘signed’ it to the magicians drawing frame. There were duplicate drawings from the magician. The flap part is how the drawings changed from another, so the frames were gimmicked. He didnt even show the other side of the frame after the reveal part lol. Sneaky switching techniques there.

Para mi entender y analizando el video, pude observar que de la única manera de que Michael pueda realizar esa “metamorfosis” es teniendo no uno ni dos, si no tres dibujos de Allison. Leyenda: Marco 1- marco de Michael (Dibujo original de Allison) en rojo (no tiene nada detrás) Marco 2- marco de Allison con doble hoja. (dos dibujos de Allison en rojo mirándose cara a cara) En el Marco 2 hay una doble hoja la cual tiene dos dibujos de Allison en rojo pre-hechos mirándose cara a cara dejando el espacio en blanco para el frente para que Allison dibuje en azul a Michael. Minuto 2:00- Michael empieza a dibujar a Allison en el Marco 1 en rojo (dibujo original) sin nada detrás y termina en el minuto 2:55 lo vira y lo firma. Minuto 3:00- pone el Marco 1 debajo y boca arriba para que Allison dibuje en azul a Michael en el Marco 2. Termina en el minuto 3:33 y muestra el dibujo en azul sujetando los dos marcos. Minuto 3:44 gira el marco 2 para que Allison lo firme. En ese momento prácticamente le roba el dibujo que Allison realizo en azul de Michael dejando expuesto el segundo dibujo de Allison en rojo boca arriba en el Marco 1. Nota: en el Marco 2 queda expuesto el tercer dibujo de Allison y es el que va a mostrar. Minuto 4:00- muestra los sobres de manila para que vean que están vacíos y tarda 15 segundos para distraer al publico incluyendo a Penn y a Teller. Minuto 4:20- comienza a poner el Marco 2 en el sobre manila boca abajo exponiendo solamente la firma de Allison. El dibujo 3 ya está “ready” para mostrar. El dibujo de Michael (en azul) está en el Marco 1 boca abajo pero el dibujo dos de Allison pre-hecho expuesto boca arriba. Minuto 4:33- coloca el Maco 1 en el sobre manila exponiendo el segundo dibujo, pero con el dibujo de Michael (azul) boca abajo. Minuto 4:36- En ese momento con la mano derecha oculta en el sobre, despega el dibujo robado y lo deja caer en el sobre manila. Minuto 4:40- saca el Marco 1 y muestra el dibujo dos de Allison (rojo) al publico sosteniendo con la mano izquierda el sobre, gira el marco exponiendo la firma de Michael para que vean que es el dibujo de él, lo introduce y pega el dibujo que Allison realizo de Michael en azul en el Marco 1. En el minuto 4:47 noto un movimiento de giro sospechoso como aplicándole fuerza para que el dibujo de Michael en azul (robado) quede bien pegado al Marco 1. Se pegan los dedos para realizar la “metamorfosis” y exponen los marcos. Michael con el dibujo que Allison realizo y Allison el dibujo tres de ella misma en rojo. Nota que los risos del dibujo mostrado de Allison en rojo no es el mismo que el dibujo original. Comparación: minuto 2:52 con el minuto 5:21 Creo que el truco esta en practicar el dibujo de Allison mas de 100 veces para que te salgan, no exacto, pero más o menos igual. A pesar de todo lo expuesto en este texto no se le puede quitar crédito a Michael The Magician pues fue una excelente presentación y bien realizado. Además, todo lo que esta expuesto en este texto es pura especulación. En realidad, es mi pensar. Yo no soy mago. Tampoco trato de quitarle el crédito a este gran mago. Pero es de la única manera en que yo lo pudiera hacer. Si hay de otra manera, favor de expresarlo.

The "Allison's picture" revealed at 3:37 is *_very_* different from the actual picture Allison drew at 3:22 -- the nose is much thicker and the color has changed from aqua-blue to navy-blue. The hair looks a tad different also. Looks like a carbon copy. Which is probably is. The other picture is likewise duplicated. Basically, *_each frame now contains both pictures._* Some mechanism in the frames (motors?) then switches the pictures, probably by simply spooling a loop with one picture on one side and the other picture on the other side. Then the big reveal. But to the attentive person who looks at the video at 3:22 and compares to 3:37, it's all over and the method of the trick is revealed. No wonder P&T weren't fooled.

No. Same picture. Just lighting and camera angle giving the color a different shade. She literally draws it and then he lifts it to show it. The ears and hair squiggles are perfectly identical. Same as the reveal. You're thinking about the trick too hard.
