Or you can try what I do and get you some ReynoldsKitchen Parchment Paper Cookie Sheets and unfold them and place them on the grill. The fold obviously needs to be at the hinged part of the grill. Place the meats between the top & bottom of the sheet just like you would without the parchment paper and close the lid. The parchment will not burn and it won't stop the meats from browning or getting the grill marks. I make sure the drip edge will still let the liquid flow out and into the catch tray. I also line my catch tray with foil. When your through cooking the cleanup is almost non existent.

Another tip for cleaning them- i found that i was using a lot of paper towels so i went into tesco (i live in the uk) and bought some cheap blue and white all purpose cloths cloths (10 for 32p) which work out at 3p a use to clean the foreman instead, i still clean it powered on though, every few wipes ill wash under the tap again. This works out cheaper and takes up less storage space. plus i find that if i press too hard i burn myself with the paper towels- not with the cloths

I got a Griddler and I absolutely love it. It's like a foreman but the surface areas on the top and bottom detach from the device. Really easy to clean.

Per manufacturer it states to NEVER use cooking spray on the product because the propellant builds upon the surface of the plate and effects the heating... just a heads up. Im sure it wouldnt hurt it now and then but I was surprised to read said to never use it in the owners manual.

Yep, using any empty bottle/jar as a grease collector is a great idea. Pretty easy to just store it under the sink until it's full and can be thrown out.

Nice video mate, exactly what i do! Another thing i do is put a single paper towl or a couple squares of toilet roll in the actual drip tray, so then after the food is cooked you can just chuck that in the bin and it not go down the drain :) Keep up the great work, been following your vids for a while now and some very helpful info so thank you for taking the time!

Back in college, discovering that alum foil trick was like... mindblowing! But sometimes, when we pick our food out, we accidentally poke a hole in the foil and well, you can imagine what happened. My roommates and I neglected it when that happens and boy, the consequences sucked especially when we have to use it the next time. Although it's too late now, this tip will be helpful when I get my own GF Grill.
@LOVERguildwars11 жыл бұрын
best way i found out to clean one is that you take about 4 paper towel and soak them with water. while the grill is off and still hot place the paper towels in the grill so that they are covering the whole grill. the steam from the towel will actually help loosen the food off the grill and after you are done eat you just take a little soap with another wet paper towel and you just wipe clean....best way i found out

or you could wait about two or three minutes after turning off your George Foreman grill, grab one or two sheets of paper towel (depending on what kind you have) run it under the faucet, put it in the george foreman grill and let it "steam" while you eat. when you're done eating the food residue on the grill will still be super easy to clean off. or you could use parchment paper when you cook (i find it better to use than foil, in my opinion).

You shouldn't drain the fat into the sink, I've had my sink get clogged in the past (even with a disposer). The fat solidifies and accumulates once it cools.
@DreamerTrain10 жыл бұрын
In the long run the small traces of aluminum that transfers to your food will accumulate in your body and cause issues. I recommend anyone to research the effects before they try this out.
@PatrickOBrien-l6r8 ай бұрын
This was quite useful BUT do NOT pour fat down your drain!!! It can solidify in your pipes or if it manages to make it through your pipes it can create a Fatburg in the sewer lines

Hey Mike....you might want to watch out putting animal grease in your drain....when it gets cold it will bust your pipes below the sink. With an athlete and a bodybuilder in my house this happened twice because of the massive amounts of flesh being George Foremaned.
