US here. I have Hot Launch 3. Driver, 5 and 7 woods. They have a huge sweet spot. I am 73 and I love the forgiveness it gives this old guy

It’s great to see a company go the route of budget clubs and still make nice looking stuff.

I have a Tour Edge Exotics XCG6 driver from 2012. Still love it. But damn, this new model is sexy and has such a crisp sound too. Definitely have to try it out

Love to see Tour Edge getting some love. I had a 3 wood of theirs years ago that was a bomber. Great quality for the price. Keep up the good work.

Back in the day, Purespin made a driver with a "diamond face". Hitting at night you could see sparks when you'd hit one! Loved that driver! Then I got a Callaway...

I have a set of Tour Edge High launch Irons, Hybrids and Woods, but will be getting fit for this driver as soon as we can get back to our regular lives. Great video, and glad you seemed to like it!

I have a Tour Edge 4 wood that I really like. Thanks for the review, I will surely try one when I am in the market for a new driver.

You were hitting that driver really well. I'm really enjoying the new studio. I've heard of Tour Exotics (I'm in the USA), but I've never handled any of their equipment. This driver is no joke for sure. Nice bargain too.

I have the previous EXS model, suggested by my instructor. It's a 3 Wood with 17 degrees (more like a 4-5 Wood) with the shaft length of a 3 Wood. Kind of, as if you took one of those 3 Woods with an adjustable hosel as cranked the loft all the way up as far as you could.

I have last year version and I love it. I got 40 more yards on my drive after going to this driver.

Wow, smash factor at 1.49, that has to be pretty perfect for you! Ive had a Tour Edge exotics 4 wood in my bag for 8 years now. Super easy to hit and no draw bias.

Can you put this up against Mizuno ST200 & WIlson D7 for a “budget driver” shootout Michael?

Add the Cleveland launcher Turbo too!

thats a great idea. I would like to see that as well. Add the Cobra SZ also.

Thanks for the review Mike (and congratulations on the new studio). I like the looks of the Tour Edge a lot as it seems a little "shallower" in the face which is a shape I prefer. Here in the U.S. Tour Edge does sponsor a couple of players on the Champions Tour, but other than that they fly under the radar quite a bit. I wish some of the bigger shops would carry more of these types of brands (Tour Edge, Cleveland, Srixon, Wilson, etc.) but all they ever seem to carry are Callaway, Taylor Made, PING, Titleist, etc. Don't know if they get paid to do so, but it's nice to see an honest review of some of their smaller competitors. Thanks again.

Good review. I just wish they would tell us how much the face angle changes with an adjustment, not just loft and lie angle.

I use tour edge exotics cb pro h irons. Love them but I do find it hard to get good reviews on tour edge.. Like the look of this driver might need to try and get one... My driver is a xcgv 9 degree.. Love it

Tour Edge drivers perform well for the price, but Tour Edge really excels with fairway metals and hybrids. The CBX line of fairway metals and hybrids are no joke. I picked up the EXS 3 metal this year, finally replacing my Exotics CB4 3 metal from 7 years go.

Fairways that roll like greens? 20-30y+ runout on every shot. It's been a while since I've seen those conditions on a flat fairway.
@jergernice14 жыл бұрын
yes.... all these reviews based on foresight or even trackman that have this roll out is not particularly useful for me and many. never has my foresight driver been my gamer outside. in fact my best driver inside 2017 m1 330 drives was 40 yards longer than my d2 917 inside. outside 2017 m1 unusable, too little spin, unforgiving, d2 917 was 20 yards longer. i guess in arizona and dallas in the summer and on tour this is accurate.
@MichaelNewtonGolf4 жыл бұрын
It's a simulator......so many factors out on the real course that affects roll out........landing into an upslope, soft ground, hard ground which varies time of the year, country to country. I would always work on carry distance as launch con dictions, spin etc can influence that and be controlled. Anyway, whatever the number is its equal to all shots hit on the sim.

Michael Newton Golf I still watch every review like its gospel!!!
@LeprechaunGinger4 жыл бұрын
Are you seeing different results with Trackman? You should compare to what you used before with same ball and club to confirm data.
@MichaelNewtonGolf4 жыл бұрын
slight difference on numbers as Trackman measures different parts of the club head against GCQuad.......both very accurate data tho.

Ball speed up all over that face. Maybe 10.5 cranked down to 9.5 to square that face but up that launch angle.

Yes Gary, that would be the way to do it.
