I've gamed exotics for years, they represent a huge value in the US. They offer the only lifetime warranty I'm aware of, my father took advantage so it wasn't BS. I currently have the 2019 EXS 3w/5w/3h/4h - great equipment in my opinion!

1:27 Some, including myself, have remarked how effortless Michael's swing appears, and yet he hits for excellent distance. Well, look at the LAG he creates as be begins his downswing and how his right elbow moves through the swing - almost touching his ribs. I looked at this again, and again in slow motion (just click the little gear symbol and chose .25 speed and pause wherever you want) and took this swing thought to the range today. I have lately been hitting too many slices to the degree that I have been wondering if I should try strong 3 or TaylorMade's Mini-driver. By just focusing on making a smooth swing, and keeping my right elbow in, my drives straightened out with better swing speed and consistency. Same thing happened with my 4 iron. Thank you Michael.

I dropped out that mishit with the Tour Exotics, and then the carry was 286.5 yards. It sells for $350 in the U.S. and presents quite a bargain when Ping/TM/Callaway/Cobra range from $450 to $550.

Great Mike, the Tour Edge stood up very well against the G400 considering the circumstances. I agree with Ted who looks like a great and happy kid. The Tour Edge is a superb product considering it's priced in the States at around $300. Mike if you can it would be awesome if you could review the latest ONOFF AKA adjustable driver and the latest PRGR driver as I trully feel we here in Europe are deprived of good Japanese brands. Great review and once again good wishes for you and family during this shutdown.

The Ping is a great driver, but the TE Exotics is no slouch. As an amateur, for the price I would go with the TE. Your son is a fine young man and no doubt with your instruction, he will be a great golfer!

Just a suggestion - go online and order some "archery baffle". It can withstand driver shots with NO issue. I've got at LEAST 500 driver shots in it and it looks the same as the day it was delivered

@@MichaelNewtonGolf The 2022 Tour edge exotics c722 is the most underrated slept on drivers up to date. Top and bottom carbon, ridgeback, twin weights with the diamond face. Same technology as the leading brands of not better at the fraction of the price l. Went from 220 yrds average to 280. A must try..

How close to 1.5 in efficiency do you generally get in a driver fitting?

Depends which launch monitor.....GC2 or Quad a 1.46 is like getting a 1.50 on TrackMan. They measure different parts of the clubhead so numbers are slightly different. Both units are extremely accurate tho.

That shaft is the best fit for me from their offerings, midsize grip fitted which is what I use and the length cut down to suit

Brett, I agree, I have last year's exs, 44.75 in, 10.5 head opened 1° set to 9.5, I THINK this set up Mike would be 5-7 by by the ping, with a nice fade disbursement...Maybe ill send Mike him my driver to compare.. no courses by me open in CA currently

Keith Ornelas i’m actually looking at picking up one of last year’s drivers as well. I think they’re only $199 in the states, i’m still a very good driver. Currently I have the high launch 3 (it basically came with my set) and I can still I’ll drive my buddies with it LOL
