Nice video. I'm dropping the engine on my K75S today and this was a good check list review before the final drop. Well done.

Not yet... I have itchy fingers,yes..but there is a bad weather here since this video,the light is ugly and as i have to do it outside...but i 've worked on an other bike saturday..i filmed it : )

Thank you : ) Yes it was quite long : loosen a bolt,move the camera,adjust it, etc... But this bike is really easy to work on, the guy responsible for it was in the automotive department at bmw before to design the K serie bikes,so the powertrain/transmission is like on a car.completly separated from the chassis,or here,the frame...that's very cool i think too.

Thank you : ) I'm a "professional" amateur in the patio...lol The engine is maybe clean outside but a nasty exhaust valve decided to retire too early. So it's a mess in it. I have to pull the head off to repair now. More to come...i hope.

@michaelovitch

Since you are good at taking the engine out of the frame and you take it out alot, You should go ahead and paint the frame and the engine to freshen it up and get it looking almost new again, or customized. Awsome videos and Thanks for sharing friend!

There would be deads everywhere or we would be obliged to wear a helmet to go outside. The shampoo prices would rise suddenly... It's a funny way to see the flying unicorns too. It kills the myth a bit...lol I never thought those things could unload while flying lol They looked so white and pure on the drawings,not anymore ha ha !!

Merci : )

Thats brilliant :-)), im sure that took quite a long time, but you condensed that down to almost nothing :-)) Lots of parts to remove, lots of nuts/bolts to lose ha ha :-) I really like the way the engine and swinging arm/wheel can stay together :-)) Ahh the loverly bee :-), we have to take care of them, important for polination, i have recovered a few by placing them on a warm window ledge. Wasps on the other hand are nasty and bad tempered :-(( Thankyou, i allways enjoy your videos :-)))

We just picked up a bumblebee wich was knocked out by the lower teperatures of the evening, he was completly covered with pollen and this bastard pooped on me lol (look on wikipedia it's like a laser shot...) Once he got warmed up he flew away like a really slow and heavy helicopter. Wasps....make my brother run like a little girl...lol But if we can save all of them,like you say, it's a good thing we need them : ) As i 've read we eat a dozen of their legs when we eat a box of cereals...lol

I'm in France. around 40 kms North from Lyon. It's called Villefranche sur saone. My dog hate dark coats,postmen,postwomen,noisy mopeds,noisy vans,vehicles with weird behaviour the night,(the ones wich do not adopt the habitual flow of the traffic),bicycles with squeeky chains,bicycles with peoples he doens't like on it ,the others dogs,especially bigger or weird looking too proud of themselves,the kids with croissants in the hands,firemen,guys with uniforms....

Could you use the same procedure for the k1100rs (once the fairies have come off of course)? I imagine the ABS needs to be removed as well? Thanks
@michaelovitch
@michaelovitch 7 жыл бұрын
Looks like the k1100 rs have the same chassis,so yes,same work Yes for the abs,few things have to be disconnected on the brake system. I would just remove it,abs on a bike is not really useful i think.

Hello, I just bought a 1990 k75 and need to find the engine number for the dmv. where is it located and do you know how many numbers/ letters it is? thank you.
@michaelovitch
@michaelovitch 9 жыл бұрын
basszack Hi, It's on the right side of the engine when you sit on the bike,just between cooling fins and bellhousing. It's a flat surface rectangular,with the whole number punched on it. As i know you have to give the full serie.

ha ha no, but ive delivered leaflets for the salvation army shop. Ive found that dogs hate dark coats, and putting your fingers through a letterbox to push the leaflet through is a no no, mad house dogs like to bite fingers, ouch :-(( And old style floor level letter boxes are just asking for trouble. ha ha, well it seems like i control the rain :-) its "sods law" or "murphys law", you must have noticed it, when you really really need something the shops are shut, or the LAST bolt in an assembly snaps as you tighten it, so they all have to come out to fix it. The 13mm socket in your toolbox can not be found and the 1/2 inch you lent to a frend lol :-) Grass 30 feet high, now i would like to see that lol :-) Sometimes i cut the grass at night, the evil god of rain cant see me :-))
