Agreed, but if he doesn’t watch it he’ll literally have concussion symptoms for life. I give him less than a year and he’ll be retired

Exactly, he’s still gotta live after hockey. Once that brain and symptoms are so fragile, he’s gotta think about his future. Sad but it’s sometimes the price you pay for dropping em

Happy to see Ferland is feeling like himself, I know he was struggling for a long time with a concussion.

He needs to be pounded into another one. What a punk loser.. he wants to use his stick.. you like that? That entire org and fan base is sh*t.. Ok, open season on a coward that uses his stick.. looks like he needs to be concussed again.. no place in hockey to be a punk ass b*tch with his stick..

This has been an interesting storyline because I’m just curious there is no articles or any news on him the past 5 months, is he ever coming back??

They really tagged each other. I don’t mind this at the beginning of games. Both teams play with more fire after.

Ferland in that 2015 flames vs canucks series was one of the most physically dominating performances I've ever seen. He is made for the playoffs

Sam Bennett is built for playoff hockey, Ferland is a tough SOB, but has concussion issues. Bennet had more hits in the 4 game series against Winnipeg than Ferland had against the canucks in 6.

As a Flames fan, I worry about Ferland when he does stuff like this. He was a monster in the 2015 playoffs but hasn't been the same since due to concussion issues. Engaging in a fight when there rly is no need so early in a game is unnecessary. He should stick to the hitting (which is a danger in and of itself) but that's what makes him effective.

I’m an avid hockey fan through and through. Why in the heck with the history of concussions would they want or need him to play this role? It’s obvious that this is a lose-lose situation for Ferland himself and for the Canucks as a whole as well.
