The First Lady was a daunting show, and Pfeiffer had a lot of competition. Viola Davis as Michelle Obama, and Gillian Anderson as Eleanor Roosevelt, two great actresses as two of the most famous first ladies. Then there's Michelle Pfeiffer as Betty Ford who, outside of those coping with serious addiction, many don't think of too much. Yet not only did she absolutely steal the show, but is probably the only reason people know about The First Lady (I personally blame the writers, but whatever)
