this turned out incredible! honestly the panels had such a beautiful interesting design that it would have been a shame to let them go to waste. it's so pretty and the camper is honestly looking so homey and nice...☺☺ like a small little apartment!!

I appreciate how you subtly continued the Stranger Things branding and turned yourself into a demogorgon at 1:27. Also, congrats on finally finishing the lamp shade! imo the final 2% of any project are always the hardest

Love how this came out! Also- if you are ever in need of a larger balloon, cheap exercise balls are a good option.

If you make another, you could try a beach ball. I think it would be bigger than the punch balloon. Although, I'm not sure how to hang it to dry. I do like your revised version. Well done.

Love your “new” lampshade, Michelle! And kudos to you for going back and fixing an “old” project. Just think, if you ever end up making a second lampshade, you already have two panels finished - LOL! P.S. if you ever decide to fix the hanging wire of the lamp, they make “tracks” that are available to attach to the ceiling and wall that will hide the cords. Just a thought…! Keep up the great work! 🥰

So for those other two panels... I kept looking at them and thinking "owl." Crochet a beak in the middle, and it becomes an owl with two groovy eyes. And yeah, I did wonder about the bulb on the crochet, but it worked out great!

4:44 Fun fact, in a pinch cassette tapes make a great window scraper in a pinch. Figured this info could be useful given you live in Canada. So it’s decor and an emergency tool!

It turned out so nice! I’m so glad you were able to get it to its final form. Using a punch balloon was a genius idea. I remember them being so much bigger as a kid… But then again I was a lot smaller!

Turned out so good! And I don't think a bigger ballon would have made it a lot better, it would be essentially a flat surface. Instead I think the panels should have been a bit narrower/smaller, if you still wanted 6 of them. But please make more lampshades, this was very fun

I don't understand why you didn't thrift a lamp shade that had the shape you wanted and sewed the crochet to the wire skelleton of the lamp shade? That would be the easiest way to get the shape you want.

jsyk next time, party city has huge balloons. i used a really big one to make a massive paper mache eyeball to wear as a head for Halloween! idr how big it was but id say maybe 24 in. either way this rules! i wanted to make my own lampshade and i was going to use hangers and fabric 😅 but maybe I'll use this method instead!

I'm sure you've probably answered this before, but I love the granny square blanket you have on the back of your seat! Do you remember what yarn you used for the cream/rust/orange parts of the squares?

i just love your videos and creativity, do you think one of those giant kids balls at the walmart would have worked? like set it on a ring of some sort so it dont roll around then drape that bad boy on there, i have no clue but it is what popped in my head lol

I guess it’s a tad too late for this recommendation and I didn’t read if anyone else suggested this but you could have also used one of the bounce balls you always see in the kid section. At least here in the states they are also in the aisles. They come in lots of sizes and still easy to pop. So you could have kept the six panels. Anywho your project still turned out really good. And I admire how you go back to things(even if it’s not as much as you may want). My go back to’s, I’m shooting a zero lol
