Great video..as a former police officer myself, really good video. This is pretty real training and I wish more people from the general public knew this. It's that dynamic it can change on a dime it can go from pretty cool and calm to all hell breaking loose you're fighting for your life, your fighting to save someone else's life, your fighting to stop a threat from hurting someone else then immediately turning around and trying to save that person's life. Something to remember, police show up and they are usually always seeing that person at their worst. We don't want to fight, we don't want to use force, last thing we want to do. We don't go out looking to hurt people nor do we want to get hurt.

Especially in this video, how many people will willingly be pepper sprayed or tazed. I’m awestruck at her courage to do these things for education. @edenbaylilatour63164 жыл бұрын
Charné Slater people lose 80% of their function and training when under stress. That’s why police academy is normally 16-22 weeks long. It’s very vigorous and detailed. When I went through I lost 20 pounds and I was already fit. Almost 2 years later and I still am always in that mind frame. At the end of the day I want to go home to my family. And when your life is in the hands of people who hate you, about the only thing you can do to increase the odds of going home is to train. Prepare for the worst so you know what to do when it inevitably comes.
@erik100304 жыл бұрын
It's a good start, but she will probably not remember a thing if shit hits the fan. The point about training is that you can do things automaticly. It takes alot longer than those maybe 15 hrs of training she got, to be able to rely on it in a stressfull situation.
