@@RyanDayisaBeardedLady Frankly, the most we can hope for this year is a 2021-esque season. Cade developed into a “good enough” ball thrower who was a game manager. If Orji can get good enough to make teams respect the pass threat and not load the box with 10 dudes, 9-3, 10-2 or 11-3 is on the table, I think.

Styles make fights. USC are the golden boys that always impress with talent, a dynamic passing game, and precision. Works great in sunny southern California but may not be that reliable when on the road in the Big Ten when the weather gets rough. But hey, they signed up for this. Now they know what Big Ten teams had to deal with historically when playing on the PAC 12’s turf in the Rose Bowl right in their backyard. It’s a definite disadvantage. Michigan was more physical, period. That is just as valid a way to win football games as the pass-first style and any other discussion is sour grapes and arrogance. Now to Michigan. If you are a Michigan fan don’t drink the kool aid. You should be more relieved than happy. It is recruiting and coaching malpractice to have that poor of a passing scheme. They continue their trend of unimaginative and predictable play calling and try to substitute physicality as a stopgap. Not sure if this is a feature or a bug for Michigan. Seems no matter what coaching staff they bring in, they either can’t develop or refuse, out of misplaced pride and a “we’re tough” mentality, to develop even a competent passing attack. It worked here but it won’t get them to where they want to go. And truly superior teams will make them pay. Last year was last year. If Michigan thinks they can play the way that they played last year and win consistently they are fooling themselves. They have very little margin for error playing this style and it only works when teams are physically superior in all phases and on all units. Even Bama abandoned this style of play because they understood that they weren’t consistently going to be better man-for-man and week-to-week than their competition. Michigan is virtually alone in perpetuating this belief that they are better up and down the roster and can just beat on teams. Texas exposed them. Time to evolve or it will be another 25 years before they contend for another championship.

👏👏👏Gotta give huge props to Josh here. You were literally they only CFB analyst/personality that said Michigan was going to win this one. Even as a Michigan fan I had some pretty big doubts... and those doubts still exist until they can actually throw the ball a little bit. Which isn't all on Orji. He didn't throw a bad ball of the 12 he threw. His receivers get zero separation... This was a fantastic game to watch either way.

Don’t you get it this ish is fixed like the nfl Now I do no doubt. The plan was to keep Michigan in and keep SC in also✅ O way with 2 weeks does this happen and Michigan one Dimensional Scripted no doubt✅😂

Michigan led this game for the majority of it. USC had a lead for 2 WHOLE series, regardless of quarter. Might I add that this is solely with Michigan being one dimensional. Yeah, Michigan dominated this game. You're just being typical Josh panty Pate😂 Again

We did NOT deserve to win that game. 2nd half was a shit show. Tackling, ball handling, blocking, the basics were gone. That outcome would have been different against the ducks, or the suckeyes.

4th n short and refs gave them the 1st down. Next play td. Then they missed a delay of game hold on 2/3 of the runs. Facemask. And more. Smh.

You are wrong on the 4th and short he made the line to gain and yes they missed a facemask, also missed an offsides by USC. In regards to any holding calls, every team holds on every play it’s just a matter of how egregious it is

Josh you kept saying know your history. Well history says Riley teams lose big games because of poor run defense and poor clock management. It’s not about how one play changes perspective. It’s about how I’ve seen this scenario every year since Riley became a coach. My Mema told me to believe people when they show me who they are. This is who Riley is.

How did Michigan rack-up 290 yards rushing and not have even one holding penalty? #83 TE Zack Marshall was clearly holding on #6 DE Anthony Lucas, including throwing him to the ground as #20 RB Kalel Mullings ran past Lucas on the WINNING TOUCHDOWN! Check the highlight video, it's clearly visible. The Big Ten officiating crew missed numerous calls against Michigan, that's a fact that was been talked about during the broadcast and visually seen during the game especially with 3 facemask penalties not called against the Wolverines. I know missed penalties are part of the game, but this is a complete joke what happened to see how bad the officiating was against USC and only three penalties called on Michigan all game.

Washington will finish 7-5, but will be better than you think. their backhalf of the schedule is rough. but if they beat undefeated Rutgers this upcoming friday they’re 4-1, they play Michigan after that @ Husky Stadium. that’s a winnable game along with @ Iowa and UCLA.

You literally didn’t hear a single word he said. This defense is far from weak. It was 3 big runs and a pick 6. That was the entire offensive production from UM. Every other run was stuffed. And the first TD shouldn’t have happened bc USC stopped them short on 4th down the play before.
