Michigan’s 3rd down defense stunk in the 1st quarter: Ark St. converted 3rd downs on 1st drive of 8, 15 and 20 yards; finished 7/19 for game. But, the stat sheet is slightly skewed as 15 of 18 points and 139 of 280 yards given up came on final 2 drives after Michigan was up 28-3.
Michigan’s running game exists! Breakout game for Kalel Mullings, and Donovan Edwards shows life as Michigan runs for 301 yards. Mullings had a career-high 153 yards, 2 TD vs. Arkansas State, while The Don added 82 yards on 17 carries and 1 TD.

If Loveland is injured (and I pray he is not seriously injured), Warren is a better QB. Warren treats Loveland like he is his only receiver and it limits Warren’s pre-snap prep. Warren is looking to Loveland and missing open WRs. Other Defenses have already caught on to this. Michigan’s coaches haven’t yet - it’s really unbelievable

But at least he's got something. The whole dynamic of the offense changes with him in the game. He's the best option for what they have right now. Start with him, and bring in the younger guys to start building up their future.

My thoughts- 1. There is no time for navel gazing with this year's schedule. Meaning all Michigan can do is work hard, hope for improvement, and prepare for the next game. No win is assured. 2.Yes, we cannot figure out why we did not get a proven Quaterback in the transfer portal. What is funny to me is everybody is saying AO can't throw...... he's only thrown the ball 5 or 6 times. Damn any quarterback with any kind of skill needs more than that to even get into a rhythm. I was excited when I seen the deep pass. Yes he overthrew the wide open receiver, but he's wide open because he's in there. Point blank. He's the quarterback that needs to be in there. He's there best option. Tuttle will have the same results as Warren with the offensive line they have.

People don’t understand. It’s his first deep ball of the season. Even McCarthy used to miss wide open deep balls and he was great. But, it was the first time a receiver was able to get that open because AO was in the game. That’s what he brings because of his legs

Was at the game. 3-5 times there was a completely busted coverage and one of the receivers were wide open for tds. But Warren didn’t see them because he only throws to his 1st read. He knows where he’s throwing it before the snap

I commented on August 28th that I was deeply concerned about the QB situation. Nothing has happened in the first three games to change that. If Tuttle is physically healthy play him....but even at that, he is going to be rusty as hell. Orgi is not the answer for a downfield passing game......which they must have or teams will crush the running game. Might well be 2-2 after this coming Saturday....I predicted 9-3 for this team.....might be time to modify that! lol

Michigan needs to decide who their starting QB is going to be next year, either Jadyn Davis or Jayden Denegal and start them for the rest of this year and get them reps for next year. Michigan wins 4 more games this year, no matter who the QB is. Might as well get prepared for next year.

Warde Manuel = Hot seat. Everything we are facing is in part due to the incompetent moves from the athletic director. Harbaugh would have stayed if Warde had a spine--Harbaugh and Warde were barely even talking when he left. In addition, do a real search for a real coach and bring in a top level coach and pay top level money to retain the leadership required to keep winning.

Give me Jack Tuttle at this point. We just need someone who can occasionally threaten the defense downfield and make good decisions. I think he gives us the best chance based on what I’ve seen from Warren and Orji so far.

if we play alex Orji with consistency he will make the throws he needs to... I believe he is a gamer! Some players rise when the lights are bright and I believe Orji is that guy. Orji threw a decent long ball and the receiver quit on the route otherwise it's a touchdown. We might not have the QB to win a Natty on the roster but Orji can give us a 9-3 type season

I think as long as JT is healthy enough to not be a hindrance, he should start. Our QB play has been awful. Our O-line should be embarrassed that a less than mediocre team like Ark State got to our QB’s so easily.
