I don't think Bothroyd is liked anywhere from what I can gather, we had him early on at Coventry and he was known to have a bad attitude. Although Bellamy seems to be very unpopular too, although came up short with trying to be tough at Coventry, as Kirkland mentions on his respective episode😅

Why would he want to go without his best player under any circumstances? He would've been bullied into it. Nobody who loves Ireland would do that.
