I really hope so, man. The fact the we don't have Michael to share his thoughts on the new crop of drivers, the evolution of the sport, his son's progress, Ferrari's ups and downs, and many other matters is a such a loss for all us F1 fans. More so, I just want Michael to be able to live out his days with his family and loved ones. All the time he's put into the sport, he deserves to enjoy life after F1.

@@devanshsharma24 He has to deal with that pressure since entering the feeder series because a lot of eyes are on him, more than on most other drivers who are sons or relatives of famous racers. He has shown a lot of solid stuff and did consistently well this year, leading the championship with only 1 win. It seems he can handle the pressure well, and I hope he can continue that. (His cousins seems to have a lot of problems in F3 though, but from what I have heard he may have had some bad luck with the teams he drove for as well)

This made me really emotional. Michael was my childhood hero. Of all the amazing sports figures that I grew up watching, Michael was probably the one I idolized the most. Watching his beautiful red car on track and hearing it’s sound was like seeing an old friend that brought me so much happiness as a child. Seeing it being driven by a driver in that familiar red helmet felt like watching Michael all over again. And the fact the driver was is his son Mick makes it more special - he seems to have Michael’s style too! Such a special moment. Keep fighting, Michael

Engine like that lasts 3-4 GP if you are lucky. Costs 1,500,000£ . There are 22 cars and normally 22 races. Lets do the math. 1,500,000*22*(22/3.5)= 207,428,100£ . So yeah. Bringing the V10 back to F1 is on Sean...he's spending 200mm £ and change out of his own pocket so the minimum we can do is to thank him. Thanks Sean!

The son of a living legend following in his father's footsteps, driving his car on a track that, quite literally, forged his legend, back when testing was allowed and Ferrari (and especially Schumacher) spent thousands upon thousands of miles driving around Mugello in their quest to absolute perfection. Here's to Mick living his dream. He might not have the same raw talent his father had, but he's sure working hard to carve his own path. It's just how it's meant to be, that that path involves driving the red car once again.

I think they get the message, but they're never gonna put worse engines in, lose all their sponsors, lose almost every single F1 team currently competing, and finally face mass boycotting from environmentalists and the like. It's be awesome, but only in one aspect.

If F1 wasn't as serious as it is, they would have just allowed Ferrari to use the F2004 in Mugello with slicks - would have produced similar lap times, but with much more fanfare.

Would it tho. Like in reality a big issue is that the f2004 is a freaking brick compared to the cars we have now Aerodynamically. And the engine even at full 950 would Still go slower than today's cars. Like top speed it might be able to outdo the merc today but for a lap time.....

@@djbadlt 141 kilos to be exact - power to weight was much better, aero was much less susceptible since it was simpler. And the aerodynamic possibilities were much greater. And they could get much faster still if you give them slicks and remove the 60-80 kg of ballast the F2004 had to carry to reach the minimum weight.

Genuine question: people's argument against bringing back the old V10s is generally the fact that F1 wants to go greener. Now I wonder: fuel and engine (not electric) technology have also come a long way since then, so can't they just build "greener" V10s, V10s that are much more fuel efficient than the old ones? praneeth kalidindi You need to understand one thing tho, that not everyone could drive a Ferrari it takes special drivers to achieve with Ferrari. And MS and NL were those special drivers, Vettel without any doubt his a gifted talent a great driver but, he had two occasions of winning with Ferrari and in the end he made mistakes and wasted his chance of becoming WC with Ferrari..Alonso is an awesome driver he was great with Renault but he was not that special driver for Ferrari. Mick Schumacher in the other hand will be just like his dad bc he has the same characteristics from his dad which he will be a special driver meaning knows how to handle the philosophy of a Ferrari and drive one and Leclerc is that special driver too. And I know your not trying to compare a team that produces their own engines too teams that have engine suppliers are you..

Oh man, what I'd give to hear a Ferrari F1 V10 at full song again!! It's been 15 years. Yes, the modern day cars are faster, but that's less important to me than the primal shriek of the V10 era. Mick has proven this year to be a worthy driver. He is not as over-powered as Schumacher's name's fans would say, and he is far from being as bad as the haters want us to think. I predict him a very decent future in f1, although i think it will probably be closer to his uncle's heritage, than his father's.

So proud of this guy. He’s a great dude and a really good racer. Mick was brought up very well by the Schumacher family. This car is sexy as F and the sound... well I can just listen to that all day long. He was being sensible as you would be, but on the second lap he sure didn’t hesitate to go quicker definitely found some confidence on lap 2 loved it. He looks good in Red and Burgundy.
