He lived his life, had a lot of experiences, made some very tough decisions , still loves playing ... and has a HUGE following of fans. Can't ask for much more than that. He's a guitar legend, and probably the best blues-rock slide guitar player ever.

Agree 💯 with all except for the very last statement. MT is/was about as good as, but I wouldn't say better, a slide blues-rock guitarist than Duane Allman.

I grew up in Los Angeles in the early 1960's. First single was probably Eric Burdon and the Animals "House of the Rising Sun". I saw Rory Gallagher twice at the Whisky A Go Go and Dr John at the Troubadour in the early 70's. You struck a chord with your work in John Mayall's Band and the Stones and with my favourite escapist from Cream, Jack Bruce. I love seeing you join the returning or resurfacing players from that era. Hope to hear more from you. Your silde is as good as it can be.

Definitely blessed with great talent. And in the right place right time joining the stones resulting in the best Era in rock 69 74. Those recordings were and are classics in a league of their own. And in my opinion so much because of Mick Taylor. He's truly one of a kind

Oh Mick , you can play so beautifully. Yes you were blessed by God and got out as soon as you could. Keep playing your music and know you are loved by many.

Keith does not appear on Goats Head Soup very often. That album is Jagger and Taylor. Funny that it turned out to be one of the biggest selling Stones album to this day! Keith turned into Brian Jones and could not function. Give credit to Jagger for helping him get through that 10 year haze!

Keith does not play on GHS? Open youre ears, please. It seems you believe everything you read. By the way, I am not a Keith Richard's fan...

@@tonteriaslasprecisas6897 What I meant was that Keith Richards does not dominate the record like he did on Exile on Main Street. Richards addiction took over so Jagger and Taylor worked together a lot more. I AM a fan of Keith and my ears are wide open. He doesn't play at all on Winter or 100 years ago. This was Jagger and Taylor's record. Keith came back on It's Only Rock & Roll. I don't believe everything I read and my ears work perfectly, thank you.

I'm sorry but Keith understands the choir-falsetto backing much better than MIck Taylor....

@@roseblake5803 We should all stop the bickering on both "sides". Keith is the master of riffs and a legendary composer/songwriter. MT is unquestionably a virtuoso-level blues-rock guitarist. They're *both* friggin GREAT in their own way ! Comparing them is unfair to both men, and is arguably as silly as pitting Kurt Cobain against Steve Vai. 😁🤣

Yeah I'll run out now and get your cd Mick T? Noy gonna happen. You are a great guitar player that's it. You didn't like the Stones then you should have said no to joining them and they would have found somebody as good as you who would be fucking happy to have the honour of playing with these guys. Did YOU come up with Jumpin Jack Flash?
