Willey's Dam Camp - About 3 years ago, I sprinkled microclover seeds in two areas of our camp lot. The goal was for the wild "Wilmah's" (rabbits) to eat the clover and stay out of my garden beds. The clover took 1 1/2 years before I noticed a small patch that germinated. The following summer, I had lots and lots. This summer, the 3rd growing season, it has filled in and taken over the areas I wanted it to. Soon, I'll have a no-mow yard because this clover forms such a nice tender growth so close to the ground, it won't need mowing...ever. I love it, as do the Wilmah's who now leave my garden veggies/greens alone!
