I. Carry the RovyVon Aurora A5 UV flashlight. It’s very small, easy to recharge, and I really like its functionality. I prefer clicking to twisting i/o and the double click keeps it from clicking itself on.

As someone who's carried the tgt nightcall 2.0 for a while and as someone who gets hot and sweaty during summer: It will start to smell. Not like old sneakers from 5 feet away, but you might end up like me and ask yourself "what's that stench?" That's the downside of a flexible wallet, also the makers don't recommend washing it, so you'll have to live with it
@mcho31212 жыл бұрын
I know your comment is a couple years old, but wanted to put a suggestion out there for Soak wash. It’s a no rinse soap that was designed for lingerie and you just soak the item in it and good to go. I used it on my stretchy elastic Apple Watch band which can also develop a smell if worn too long and it worked well just by soaking it.

Just unboxed my Elementum (black G-10) yesterday and I love it! I was able to order it from White Mountain Knives last week through eBay. It came with a cool looking little Civivi multitool/prybar and a flight tag for free. I'm also a big fan of the Spyderco Cat and the GITD RovyVon Aurorae (I have the A5 in green and just grabbed the A7 in blue with UV).

Why do these titles sound increasingly more like designer fashion goods? "Everyday" "summer" "latest" "must have" "hottest" 😂 Ive been in outdoor survival, bushcraft and wild camping for over 40 years. It used to be "use your brain, gain experience" and "carry what you think you need" for any given situation. 😊

What do you think of the Outdoor Edge SlideWinder for a razor blade knife - very light and inexpensive. Do you like the Civivi Baby Banter? One problem with the Civivi Elementum is the the pocket clip is not reversible for us leftys. Excellent video as always.

2016 i buy the space wallet ,after 6 months it was garbage. Then i buy the "znap wallet" , not realy much bigger, with a coin sleve, space for 12 cards and ! a Papermoney sleeve ! it looks like (after 3 Years of every day use) new as the first day i buy it. Have many lights ,but the best of them is also the cheapest ... a aurora clone with a price about 10€ .

Taylor, first of all I really love watching your videos I think they are absolutely fantastic, however I have a slight complaint to make, whenever you are talking about small knives and multitools you always miss out the one far to all others and it seems like you’re doing it on purpose lol, the victorinox midnite manager is perfection 👌

I've been using my Squirt PS4 for 13 years. I use it a lot for one thing or another--pliers, screwdrivers and files for the most part. Looks a little beat up, but other than that, it's still going strong. Paid $20 on Amazon back then. Too bad Leatherman discontinued them.

For my “fifth” pocket I carry a Gerber curve. It’s so small and light I don’t even know it’s there but I am surprised how much I use it on a daily basis. The tools are great for its size and they all lock, which is a feature I love. It’s an older tool so not sure how widely available it is, but you can still find it on Amazon. Great vid btw

Wait, Big Idea design is coming out with a custom tpt slide for you, that’s awesome :) with that in mind, could you do me a favor? I have emailed them a couple times asking if they would make a stainless steel version of the tpt slide (stainless steel bc; $80 for a little tool like that is hard to swallow for the average person. They could lower the price a bit while increasing their profit margin per unit and make it available to us poor little peasants). They have never responded to me but I feel my reasoning is sound. Anyway, thanks :)
@geraldmcmullon24654 жыл бұрын
Victorinox MiniChamp does not have a pin although you could melt the red scales to fit one. The "emergency blade" (Wharncliffe shape) is very sharp and useful alternative to the pen knife but the additional tools over the Rambler perhaps not worth the weight and cost. If you carry a pen then the one with the MiniChamp and Manager would be duplication. Victorinox Midnite Manager includes a light and ballpoint pen; so two less items to carry.

Trying to decide if I'm into the Quiet Carry Shorty. Keys seem to be the hardest thing to slim down because of the damn remote car key. Those things don't fit in any of the key organizers. That said, something like the Shorty could help with all my other normal-sized keys.
