After correcting insulin resistance with eating keto with intermittent fasting and now feeling healthy again I've experimented with my diet. Did not do well on a red meat only diet no matter now I varied it. Vegetarian was even worse, and so for me I feel best on a very low carbs diet, with lots of wild caught Alaskan salmon and local trout, grass-fed local meats, eggs, butters, steamed or sauteed vegetables, berries olives, seaweeds for extra iodine. No sugars grains, flours, PUFAS, or possessed foods. Feeling very healthy now. ❤

I love nutrition with Judy. This was part 2 if the interview. The woman being interviewed is documenting eating habits around the world. She has gone to the blue zones and found that many of the people are not really vegetarians. Funny.

I thought maybe this went along with this topic. For the last 10 years I have had nothing but watery stools. I call it diarrhea, but I don't think it's the exact same thing, as I didn't have stomach cramps, nor severe urgency to go. Just when I went it was watery. Also, I went 3 to 6 times a day. But no cramps or having to rush to the bathroom or anything like that. I tried everything to reverse this. I ate PLENTY of fiber, I tried anti-diarrheals, did anything else that was mentioned, and nothing at all worked. Then I went keto for 9 months, and that didn't help either. When I went carnivore, about 3 months in I started having formed bowel movements, and rarely ever have watery stools. I stopped taking probiotics (which I had been taking for the last few years) about a month into carnivore. So now my bloating is gone, my bowels are almost back to normal, and I feel the best I've felt in a long time. Obviously my gut is healthy without fiber or probiotics.

They're censoring the comments. See the sub-thread below where Mary comments. She says she doesn't offer medical advice and that her group is just to ask questions. I was in her group and she stared directly into the camera and told people 'We're gonna fix you up', that they could pop out of long COVID, that Lyme Disease could be cured in 6 months, that a range of conditions could be reversed in 3-6 months. She was telling people she can cure all kinds of conditions in a matter of months. And now she is saying that she doesn't do that. Almost everyone in the group dropped out. She kept adding people as the months went by and then those new people would drop out themselves. I only heard one old woman say her condition was reversed (but she was still sick with other chronic fatigue?) The people commenting below work with Mary. Scott and Alex in the comments section aren't mentioning that. I get the impression Mary has taken some Tony Robbins or Scientology-type class on being assertive. It seems like she thinks that if she just says something forcefully enough that she can make it happen. It's not working.

Lindsey please read my comments above. These interviews are extremely misleading. Mary SAYS she has healed thousands of people. That's what she claims. I paid for her group and watched no one heal, no one reverse their condition, none of what she is gloating about happened. None of it. I have no idea how she is getting away with it. I saved my own life before her by eliminating all food but steak. I had never heard of the carnivore diet. She made things worse for me and it's not just my story either...literally no one in the group healed from their conditions. This woman is LYING. She wants money. She might as well be on television paid presentation like Suze Orman or someone like that.

Lots of amazing information from two great women, thank you. From my experience people that feel that can’t heal no matter what and they don’t have the hope and drive it’s very possible their work/home or both has mold. When I was exposed to toxic mold nothing I did was working at one point I did give-up hope. I met many people like me in my journey to healing. Anyways mold is also spoken in the Bible in a few places Leviticus is a great place to start if your interested in reading about it. Amazing they even knew way back then the dangers of it. Now when something isn’t working it seems many not think about maybe the persons environment is toxic. What we breath-in will effect us just like what we eat

I LOVE that she talks about the material's we wear and the over sanitation of our western world. I literally can't get enough of this conversation. The obsession we have with soap (bath and body works in highschool 😂 I can't) is crazy. I started using natural shampoo a year ago, it stripped all the silicones out of my hair so it looked like straw. After months of oiling my hair with coconut oil, tallow, and jojoba oil I got it healthy again. Here's what's crazy, my hair takes weeks to get as greasy as it used to in a couple days with commercial shampoos. In fact after 10 days if it starts to get a little heavier than I'd like I just scrub my scalp with water and those silicone shampoo scrubbers and all the excess oil is gone! I just spray it with ACV after and it's silky smooth. Before the oil was just sitting on my hair shaft, now it absorbs. I also don't use deodorant and haven't for years. I found out if I spray with ACV the smell completely goes away for a day in the summer or three-five days in the winter. It has to do with our body's PH.

I was in her group. NO ONE HEALED. Not one. Not a single person. I've never heard anyone talk a bigger game. I have heard her say on podcasts that her diets work 100% of the time. It was the exact opposite. Almost half the group dropped out after the first two months. She kept saying 3-6 months and at 6 months only 3 people were left from the original group. She kept adding people on a rolling basis...even though we could all see that none of these promises were happening. And those people would drop out. And the people who stayed did not reverse their conditions. I got better results figuring out carnivore on my own and also going backwards to a very limited keto diet. Mary's diet is the GAPS diet or Carnivore. Her sessions are almost all tips about constipation and diahrrea. You can message me if you want I am happy to share more.

@@UnlockYourWellness It's not me Alex. It was the ENTIRE GROUP. I think I recognize you from one of the zoom calls. The Focus Session started in March of 2021 and almost every single person dropped out. Mary lets her clients download videos of each session so you can go back and see all the clients drop away. And see that no one is reporting their conditions are reversing or being cured or even being alleviated. How do you answer for that?
@paulstevens6043
@paulstevens6043 2 жыл бұрын
Alex that's bad if that is your best explanation. She has not healed thousands of people. That's what she says. We woud need someone impartial to audit her work. At the very least she is lying over and over again on KZbin and on podcasts about her amazing results with her patients. I watched 30 separate clients come and go without healing. You have no explanation for that...or why she continues to take everyone's money when she can see it's not working. It's on video. I also don't see a beautiful soul in Mary. She giggles and smiles through these interviews. In the zoom calls that drops away she looks angry and tense and bored with people. Very different.
@UnlockYourWellness
@UnlockYourWellness 2 жыл бұрын
@@paulstevens6043 I suppose my best explanation is if you put all responsibility of healing on the practitioner you’re working with and none of it on yourself then you won’t heal. Everything she gave me resonated with me when I worked with her and I took it and ran. I got better, but only after she gave me the roadmap. She’s helped thousands of other people heal. Maybe it just wasn’t a good fit for you. Again I’m sorry it didn’t work for you and I’m glad you’re better now but you don’t need to try to tear down such a beautiful soul.

I want to comment on the fish/omegas conversation. I used to eat a lot of fish prior to menopause. During menopause I became very sick with migraines and feeling weird. I had previously been on bioidentical hormones. Anyway. Long story short, when the migraines started happening 3-4 every week I ended up doing a hair test and discovered my mercury was extremely high. Also the hair test revealed my thyroid and adrenals weren’t working well and other problems. I don’t know how long the mercury was high prior to the first hair test but I had a hard time getting it out of my body. Sardines were the only fish recommended on the diet I was following but I eventually had to even stop those. It took a while to get the mercury levels reduced but I had to completely stop eating fish. Now if my thyroid and adrenals had been working better maybe the mercury wouldn’t have built up like that. But the mercury in fish can be a huge issue if your body isn’t able to detox it.

OMG! I do not agree with eating farmed salmon that are packed together eating non natural food only pellets and getting injected with red dye to make them look like they are wild caught! I lived in Texas and the best seafood restaurant were fish that were breaded and deep fried! So It must be living in Austin where you don’t really don’t know the difference or the beauty of eating wild salmon or kussi oysters like we take for granted here in the Seattle. Please what ever health benefits you like you think you are getting is totally wrong! Don’t eat farmed anything! They are brainwashing you into believing that farmed salmon is good. Now I wondered why you promoted farmed salmon in you book! Your young someday you will wake up. Peace

If you’re prone to constipation, then yes, you need fiber. This is ridiculous advice. Fibre is important for regular bowel movements.
